JTL Cloud Apps are cloud-based applications in JTL’s ecosystem, administered through JTL Hub to connect JTL and partner services with merchants’ workflows. Some apps work entirely in the cloud; others depend on JTL-Wawi data and services. The App Store is in a controlled introduction phase, so check JTL Hub for current access and app availability.
How JTL Cloud, JTL Hub, the App Store, and Wawi fit together
- JTL Cloud is the cloud platform and ecosystem connecting merchants, partners, and apps.
- JTL Hub is the control center for cloud access and app administration. JTL lists JTL ID login, two-factor authentication (2FA), and user and rights management among its features.
- JTL App Store is the intended catalog and distribution channel for extensions such as returns, add-ons, and automations. JTL describes installation in JTL Hub and cloud-managed subscriptions and updates.
- JTL-Wawi is JTL’s merchandise management system. The cloud app model can extend Wawi while it remains in place, rather than replacing it in every case.
These names refer to related parts of the platform, not interchangeable products. In particular, an app’s presence in the broader JTL ecosystem does not by itself establish that it is available to every user now.

Do all JTL Cloud Apps require JTL-Wawi?
No. The requirement depends on the individual app: some apps use Wawi data or processes and need a working connection, while others can operate fully in the cloud. Check the specific app’s requirements before planning a setup; there is no single Wawi requirement that applies to every app.
What you need for an app that connects to Wawi
JTL’s current connection guide sets JTL-Wawi version 2.0 or later as the baseline for connecting Wawi to JTL Cloud. It also requires a JTL ID and an organization. The setup depends on an active JTL Cloud connection, the Wawi API, and the Windows services needed by the app.

- Use a JTL ID and an organization, and connect the Wawi tenant to that organization.
- In the Wawi connection setup, confirm that the cloud connection, local API, and required Windows services are reachable.
- Check whether the particular app requires additional services or configuration. The JTL-Archive service is required for the Documents app, but not when that app is not being used.
- Complete the app’s own installation and permissions steps in JTL Hub. Details can differ between apps.
JTL says the JTL Cloud workspace requires 2FA. The relevant setup guide is JTL’s guide to connecting JTL-Wawi to JTL Cloud.
Is the App Store generally available?
JTL’s FAQ describes the App Store as being in a controlled introduction phase, with password-protected access that can currently be requested. It also says partner apps must pass JTL review and that publication rules and API Scope Support are prerequisites whose dependencies are still pending. For that reason, treat the App Store as a staged rollout, not as a guarantee that every announced app is ready to install. Check JTL Hub or JTL’s official information for the app’s current status.

JTL’s platform page places app distribution, ERP Cloud, workflow automation, a WMS dashboard, worker status, and BI features on a 2026+ roadmap. Those are planned items, not confirmed releases unless a current app listing shows otherwise. JTL Cloud Apps are not the same as JTL-Wawi Cloud hosting
JTL-Wawi Cloud is a separate paid hosted option for remote access to Wawi. JTL describes browser access and a CloudAPP Launcher for Windows and Mac. JTL names ecomDATA as the provider of the displayed hosting packages.

How to decide whether an app fits your setup
- Establish whether the app can run cloud-only or needs Wawi data and processes.
- If it connects to Wawi, verify the required Wawi version, API access, and Windows services.
- Confirm that the app is accessible in the current App Store rollout rather than relying on a roadmap mention.
- Review its installation steps, permissions, and the data or workflow it will use.
- Consider JTL-Wawi Cloud separately only if you need hosted remote access to Wawi.
