Truckful looks like a natural fit for relaxed, controller-led Steam Deck play: you drive a pickup, deliver cargo for villagers, upgrade your truck and investigate a mystery in the forest. MythicOwl says it tested the game extensively on Steam Deck and saw smooth performance in most scenes, but Steam currently lists compatibility as Unknown. That is not the same as Valve’s Verified rating.
What you do in Truckful
Steam describes Truckful as a single-player driving and delivery adventure. Its central loop combines errands for villagers with exploration and a mystery connected to an ancient forest.

Does Truckful suit handheld controls?
Steam lists full controller support and recommends playing with a controller, making the control setup a good match in principle for a handheld. The store lists 30 supported interface and subtitle languages and no full-audio languages. Check the Steam listing for the current language and input details for your region and version.

Is it cozy or a horror game?
MythicOwl describes most of Truckful as cozy, emphasizing scenic drives and friendly villagers. Its FAQ also notes that difficult terrain, cargo physics, environmental hazards and supernatural encounters bring tension. The developer says encounters are built around evasion rather than demanding survival horror, so its stated aim is a shift between relaxed errands and uneasy moments—not sustained horror.
