Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days run October 6–7, 2026, but the available official event information does not confirm a deal on the HyperX CloudX Stinger 2 Core. HyperX lists the wired Xbox headset at a $39.99 MSRP; that is not a verified Amazon sale price. Check the live listing for its current price, seller, and exact model before treating it as discounted.
Is the HyperX CloudX Stinger 2 Core on sale for Prime Big Deal Days?
A headset-specific discount is unverified. Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days 2026 FAQ says the 48-hour event runs October 6–7 and that Prime membership is required to access event deals. Amazon’s event deals page likewise says the event runs through October 7. Neither page identifies a CloudX Stinger 2 Core offer.

Which headset is this?
The model is HyperX CloudX Stinger 2 Core, SKU 6H9B7AA: a wired Xbox headset. HyperX lists compatibility with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Its US product page describes it as an entry-level headset. That positioning and the specifications below are manufacturer information, not independent test results.
#1 Best Overall
- Official Xbox Licensed headset: CloudX Stinger 2 Core was tested and approved by Microsoft, and connects directly to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S controllers with a 3.5mm port.
- Lightweight comfort: Soft ear cushions provide a comfortable fit, and the flexible mic can be positioned just as you like.
- Swivel-to-mute noise-cancelling microphone: Conveniently and definitively mute the microphone simply by flipping it up and out of the way.

- Onboard audio controls: With audio controls right on the headset itself, you won’t have to dive into system menus to adjust the volume.
Will it connect to your Xbox controller?
The headset connects through a 3.5 mm jack. HyperX says it works directly with controllers that have a 3.5 mm headset port. The international product listing identifies the connection as a four-pole CTIA plug and says an adapter is needed for Xbox controllers without a 3.5 mm port; the adapter is sold separately. Check your controller’s port before buying.

What to verify before you buy
- Confirm the listing is the CloudX Stinger 2 Core, not another Stinger model or a different platform variant.
- Check the seller, current price, and any Prime eligibility shown on the live Amazon listing.
- Confirm that your controller has a 3.5 mm headset port, or account for the separately sold adapter if it does not.
- Compare the displayed price against a sourced reference price; HyperX’s $39.99 MSRP alone does not prove that an Amazon offer is a discount.
