For a used pack, check that all four components are present and inspect their condition. Confirm the TP3401 identifier and compatibility with the specific Flexx stroller. A listing that merely says “Britax tandem” is not enough to establish fit.
How the second seat must be used
The manual specifies that the second seat is for the Flexx only, fits at the rear facing forward, and must be correctly installed and locked onto the tandem axle. The child in that seat must not exceed 17 kg. Remove the second seat before folding the stroller. Height adaptors are for tandem use and must not be fitted in single-stroller mode.

The manual depicts approved arrangements involving the second seat and a bassinet, and specifies recline-position use for particular configurations. It also notes that caregivers may need to adjust the leg rest or bassinet canopy. Those diagrams are configuration-specific: follow the manual and use only manufacturer-approved accessories rather than improvising a combination.

How to judge whether it suits your family
CHOICE’s published figures help with capacity and size, but they do not tell you how this stroller performed in its tests. For a practical decision, consider the family’s needs alongside the unresolved condition and availability questions.
- Children and configuration: The main seat is listed up to 20 kg and the second seat up to 17 kg. Check the manual for the exact arrangement needed, including any bassinet setup.
- Lifting and transport: At 17.5 kg, the listed stroller weight is a relevant consideration if you regularly lift it into a vehicle or carry it up stairs.
- Storage: The published 125 × 60 × 127 cm dimensions are height × width × depth, not folded measurements. Measure the storage space and obtain verified folded dimensions before purchase.
- Everyday use: CHOICE lists a 4 kg basket capacity. Consider whether that meets your needs, and do not treat the members-only manoeuvring or folding test categories as evidence of a particular result.
- Availability and completeness: Because CHOICE marks the model discontinued, a matching, complete pack may be difficult to find. Confirm the exact model and every component before committing.
