Yes—Riders Republic can be played solo, and it offers more than a one-time set of races: career tracks, gear and sponsor goals, exploration, and repeatable events give solo players reasons to keep going. Whether that feels like lasting replay value depends on how much you enjoy revisiting event formats and working toward unlocks; Ubisoft does not publish a solo-playtime or replay-hours estimate.
Can you play Riders Republic solo?
Yes. Ubisoft says races and events can be played in Solo mode against player ghosts, and that the career progressions are playable solo. “You can play Riders Republic solo, with up to 64 players, or with a friend group online,” Ubisoft Help says. The 64-player option refers to online play, not the number of opponents in a solo event. Ubisoft Help: game modes in Riders Republic

Solo mode is distinct from the game’s multiplayer modes. Ubisoft lists Free For All, Mass Race, Tricks Battle, and Showdown as multiplayer options. On console, access to online multiplayer modes may require an active PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass subscription; that requirement concerns online play, not the existence of solo events.

Ubisoft’s current game page describes six career progressions playable solo or in PvP, alongside a broad action-sports world. The page currently presents activities and features such as biking and BMX, skiing, snowboarding, wingsuit activities, skate content, free-roam exploration, collectibles, discoverable spots, stunt parks, and mountain stories. This is a snapshot of the features Ubisoft currently presents, not a guarantee that every activity or event will remain unchanged as the live game evolves. Ubisoft: Riders Republic
#1 Best Overall
- Battle against over 50 players simultaneously in a massive multiplayer playground.
- Compete in an all-out mass start race—collide, grind, and fight your way to the finish
- Customize your character to show off your style to your friends or show up the competition.
- Bike, ski, snowboard, or wingsuit through a seamless open world in Career mode or multiplayer events.
- Go wild on the heights of iconic US national parks like Yosemite, Zion, and Bryce Canyon.
That variety matters for solo play because it gives you different kinds of goals: compete in an event, advance a career, look for things around the map, or try activities in the open world. If you want a focused, linear single-player campaign, the open-ended mix may feel less directed; if you like switching between sports and exploration, it offers more ways to spend a session.
How solo progression and return visits work
Ubisoft describes career advancement, gear unlocks, and sponsor and event milestones as progression goals. These provide a practical loop for solo players: take on events, advance through career tracks, and work toward equipment or other milestones. The appeal is tied to whether those incremental goals motivate you, rather than to a fixed campaign length.

- Jump into the riders Republic massive multiplayer playground.
- Meet and compete with other players, ride hard with an exciting range of activities such as bike, ski, snowboard, wingsuit and Rocket wingsuit.
- Create and shape your own rider through evolutive, progression-based gear and define every aspect of your avatar.
- Riders Republic will run at 60 FPS on next gen consoles and display more than 50 players simultaneously live on screen.Make a name for yourself in a variety of sports, rise to the top of the leaderboard in career mode.
The game has also used seasonal challenges and rewards to encourage return visits. As one historical example, Ubisoft’s Season 12 announcement described a free season progression with 20 tiers of weekly challenges, live events, and unlockable rewards. It also described an Activity Panel for reaching Mass Races, exploration spots, career progress, and live or LAB events. This example shows how the live-service layer has worked; it does not mean Season 12 rewards are still available. Ubisoft: Riders Republic Season 12

For a player who enjoys sports events, exploring a large map, and pursuing unlocks, the combination of solo races, six career progressions, and open-world activities gives several distinct reasons to play. The main caveat is repetition: replay value depends on whether repeating event formats and chasing progression remains enjoyable for you. Ubisoft’s published material does not establish a specific number of solo hours, completion time, or replay-hour figure, so the activity count should not be read as a promise of a particular playtime.
Rank #3
- In snow-covered mountains or deep canyons, you can experience the wonderful destinations of American national parks
- Players take their own path in Riders Republic. You will receive new equipment when ascent and can personalise your game character
- Players are offered a wide selection of various multiplayer modes, such as Trick Challenges, multiplayer arenas, online cups and many more
Solo event access also should not be confused with a guarantee that every feature works offline. Ubisoft documents Solo mode and online multiplayer separately, but the cited support information does not settle whether all game functions are available without an internet connection or depend on Ubisoft’s servers.

Who should play Riders Republic solo?
- Good fit: You want an action-sports sandbox with solo events, several career tracks, exploration, and ongoing progression goals.
- Less compelling: You want a tightly scripted single-player story, dislike replaying event types, or need a confirmed offline experience.
- Consider multiplayer separately: If competitive online modes are your main reason to play, check their availability and subscription requirements for your platform before deciding.
