Plarium’s App Store description also says tournaments and events reward active players with in-game currency, blueprints, and other assets. Those are publisher-described reward opportunities, not a guarantee of any particular item or amount. Tournament rules and rewards can change, so check the current in-game guidelines rather than relying on old estimates.
What does the matchmaking information actually establish?
Matchmaking should be considered mode by mode. Plarium says Hangar Showdown uses a separate league for matchmaking, determined by mech rarity and rank. That is evidence that equipment characteristics factor into matchmaking in that mode; it is not a published formula for every PvP playlist, and it does not establish that matches will always feel balanced.

For Hangar Showdown, Plarium says the first ten matches each day affect Battle Point score. Further battles award Ranking Points and XP. This is a concrete daily participation rule for that mode, not a general rule for every tournament or playlist. The official tournament support information lists 5v5 Deathmatch, Free-for-All (FFA), and Control Point Clash among tournament battle modes. FFA requires reaching Division 4 to unlock Tournament mode, and Plarium directs players to in-game guidelines for current rules and map rotation.

How to decide whether staying free is right for you
- Consider your tolerance for progression time. If you want particular equipment quickly, the unknown time-to-unlock may matter more than the fact that matches grant XP.
