Is KnownHost Managed WordPress Hosting Worth It in 2026?

KnownHost lists three managed WordPress tiers, but the right choice depends on site count, storage and the renewal price after its three-year introductory term.

KnownHost’s managed WordPress plans may suit buyers who want cPanel, WordPress management tools, backups and migration help bundled with hosting. The main buying distinctions are site count and renewal cost: Entry and Business each list one site, while Corporate lists five, and each plan’s advertised introductory rate is tied to a three-year commitment. KnownHost publishes feature and traffic allowances, but the available evidence does not establish independently measured speed, uptime or security performance.

KnownHost WordPress plans and prices

KnownHost’s pricing page lists three managed WordPress tiers. The introductory monthly rates below are stated as based on a three-year commitment; listed renewal prices are higher. Confirm the billing term, checkout total, taxes and current renewal terms before buying, because provider pricing can change. KnownHost’s WordPress plans and pricing

Plan Introductory price Listed renewal Sites Memory NVMe storage Stated monthly visits
Entry $5.98/month, based on a three-year commitment $11.95/month 1 4 GB 50 GB Up to 100,000
Business $9.98/month, based on a three-year commitment $19.95/month 1 4 GB 100 GB Up to 200,000
Corporate $19.98/month, based on a three-year commitment $39.95/month 5 6 GB 150 GB Up to 500,000

The visit figures are plan limits published by KnownHost, not independently validated capacity measurements. Its comparison page also lists 2, 4 and 6 CPU cores, respectively; unlimited email and premium bandwidth across the tiers; inode caps of 350,000, 450,000 and 600,000; and two, two and eight databases. The Corporate overview lists a dedicated IPv4 address. KnownHost plan comparison

Which plan fits one site or several?

Entry: one site with the lowest listed renewal

Entry is the least expensive tier by listed introductory and renewal price and includes one website, 4 GB of memory and 50 GB of NVMe storage. It is the straightforward fit if you need one site and the stated storage and visit allowance meet your needs.

Business: one site with more listed storage

Business also lists one website and 4 GB memory, but doubles Entry’s listed storage to 100 GB and raises the stated monthly visit allowance from 100,000 to 200,000. Its listed renewal is $19.95 per month. Choose it for those additional allowances rather than expecting a second site.

Corporate: five listed sites

Corporate is the only tier in the comparison listing five websites. It also lists 6 GB memory, 150 GB storage and up to 500,000 monthly visits, plus a dedicated IPv4 address on the product overview. Its listed renewal price is $39.95 per month. If you need multiple hosted sites, site count is the first constraint to check.

What KnownHost says is included

KnownHost describes its WordPress environment as using LiteSpeed and LSCache on NVMe-backed infrastructure, with AMD EPYC servers, CloudLinux isolation, and optional Redis or Memcached support. The company says accounts receive Imunify360, including malware scanning and a web application firewall. These are provider-described features; they do not by themselves demonstrate measured performance or the outcome of an independent security audit. KnownHost WordPress hosting features

The product pages list cPanel, SSL, staging and cloning, WP Toolkit, plugin and theme management, cron management, integrity checks, security hardening and smart updates. They also describe scheduled or daily backups and JetBackup access. One page says the default retention includes two-day and one-week backups; confirm the retention and recovery details for your chosen plan rather than treating that as a complete backup policy.

Migration, support and data-center choices

Site migration

KnownHost advertises free professional migrations and says its team can copy site files, databases and email, check the moved site, and aim to keep it live during migration. Ask the provider about eligibility and complexity if your site has unusual configuration or dependencies. KnownHost migration information

Support and guarantee

The plan comparison lists 24/7/365 support and a 30-day money-back guarantee. The WordPress page describes support through live chat or ticket and says the guarantee applies to new clients. Treat the guarantee as subject to the provider’s current terms; a marketing claim about response speed is not an independently verified service-level commitment. Server locations

KnownHost lists data centers in Atlanta, Seattle and Amsterdam and says customers can select a location. Choosing a location nearer to your audience is a practical consideration, but the location list alone does not establish a particular site-speed or search-ranking benefit. What customer feedback can—and cannot—show

KnownHost’s product page displays positive customer testimonials about support, reliability and ease of use. One testimonial attributed to “K.H. C.” says, “There has been 99% UPTIME for more than 10 years.” That is an individual customer’s statement hosted by the company, not an audited KnownHost uptime statistic. The displayed testimonials are selected and presented by KnownHost, so they are examples of customer feedback rather than a representative survey. KnownHost customer testimonials

No controlled speed test, uptime measurement, independent benchmark or representative customer survey is established here. The plan and feature information is useful for comparing what KnownHost advertises, but it cannot answer how a particular WordPress site will perform under its own traffic and workload.

What to check before signing up

  • Confirm that the plan’s site count covers every WordPress installation you intend to host.
  • Compare the three-year introductory commitment with the listed monthly renewal price and your budget after the promotion.
  • Assess your storage needs and treat the published monthly visit counts as provider allowances, not guaranteed capacity.
  • Verify backup retention, restoration options, migration eligibility and the current money-back terms directly with KnownHost.
  • Select a listed data-center location with your audience in mind, without assuming it guarantees a speed or SEO result.
