eVPS.net vs RoseHosting: Choose the VPS That Fits Your Needs

eVPS.net suits buyers seeking a low-cost European KVM VPS they can manage. RoseHosting fits those needing U.S. hosting and managed Linux support.

Neither host is a universal winner. eVPS.net is the better fit if you want a low advertised euro price, a European KVM VPS with defined bandwidth, and are prepared to manage the server yourself. RoseHosting is a stronger fit if you need a U.S. location and want managed Linux support, weekly offsite backups, and unmetered transfer. Those are differences in published plans and services—not results from a head-to-head performance test.

How to choose between eVPS.net and RoseHosting

Start with the server location and the work you expect the host to handle. eVPS identifies Bulgaria as its main data-center location and sells autonomous KVM VPS plans. RoseHosting’s U.S. plans are located in St. Louis, Missouri, and include fully managed support. Those distinctions matter more than headline prices if your visitors are concentrated in one region or you do not want to administer Linux.

  • Choose eVPS.net if you prioritize a European server, a stated bandwidth allowance, and a low starting price, and can handle server administration.
  • Choose RoseHosting if you need a U.S. server and want the provider to help manage the Linux server and software.

Neither provider’s published claims establish which will be faster or more reliable for your particular workload. Geography can influence latency, but it does not make either host universally faster.

What the advertised plans cost and include

The figures below are provider-listed offers accessed in 2026. Prices, availability, and billing displays can change. The plans are not direct equivalents: currencies, resource labels, management, taxes, and transfer terms differ.

Provider and plan Advertised price Listed resources and terms
eVPS.net entry tier €5/month, excluding VAT 1 CPU core, 3 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe storage, 5 TB bandwidth
eVPS.net next tier €10/month, excluding VAT 3 CPU cores, 6 GB RAM, 75 GB NVMe storage, 10 TB bandwidth
eVPS.net mid-tier example €19/month, excluding VAT 4 CPU cores, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB NVMe storage, 20 TB bandwidth
eVPS.net largest displayed tier €99/month, excluding VAT 16 CPU cores, 80 GB RAM, 400 GB NVMe storage, 70 TB bandwidth
RoseHosting NVME 2 $43.99/month with monthly billing; $39.59/month in the 12-month upfront price display 2 dedicated Xeon cores, 2 GB DDR5 ECC RAM, 50 GB PCIe 4 NVMe storage, unmetered transfer, managed server/software support
RoseHosting NVME 4 $64.99/month with monthly billing; $58.49/month in the 12-month upfront price display 3 dedicated cores, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB NVMe storage

eVPS advertises a 20% discount for annual payment. RoseHosting displays a lower monthly equivalent when a 12-month term is prepaid. Compare the amount due at checkout, billing term, taxes, and included management before deciding which costs less for your use case.

Where the servers are and what the network claims mean

eVPS.net: Bulgaria and stated bandwidth

eVPS identifies Bulgaria as its main data-center location, within the EU. It describes its VPS product as KVM virtualization with dedicated virtualized resources and a dedicated kernel, using a Proxmox platform. Its data-center page advertises a 1 Gbps VPS uplink, DDoS mitigation up to 100 Gbps, and a 99.95% network uptime SLA. These are provider statements, not independent audits or measured performance results. See the eVPS data-center details.

RoseHosting: St. Louis and unmetered transfer

RoseHosting lists St. Louis, Missouri, for its U.S. plans. Its NVME 2 plan includes unmetered transfer and dedicated Xeon cores. The U.S. hosting page advertises a 100% uptime SLA and ten-times downtime credits. That headline should not be treated as directly comparable with eVPS’s network uptime figure: the covered events, exclusions, and claim process depend on the complete SLA. Review RoseHosting’s U.S. VPS plans and applicable terms.

How much server management is included?

eVPS.net is presented as an autonomous VPS

eVPS presents its KVM VPS as a server for the customer to operate. Its support information describes customer care, but the published details here do not establish a white-glove Linux administration scope comparable to RoseHosting’s managed service. If you need help with operating-system updates, software configuration, or troubleshooting, confirm in writing which tasks are included before buying.

RoseHosting advertises managed Linux support

RoseHosting promotes fully managed 24/7 support, including server and software support, alongside root access. “Managed” does not automatically mean every application or custom configuration is covered. Ask what administrators will do, what falls outside support, and whether help is available for your specific stack.

Backups, restores, and data protection

Both providers describe recurring backups, but the details surfaced for their services differ:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • eVPS.net: its FAQ says the system makes two automatic backups per week and allows up to two manual backups. The provider also recommends maintaining another backup elsewhere.
  • RoseHosting: its managed Linux VPS page advertises a full weekly offsite backup.

Frequency alone does not tell you how long backups are retained, how quickly a restore can be completed, or whether you can initiate a restore yourself. Confirm retention, restore access, recovery process, and any charges. Keep an independent copy of important data rather than relying on a hosting backup as your only recovery plan.

Refund terms and service-level fine print

eVPS’s terms state that a VPS buyer may request a refund within three days of purchase, subject to restrictions. The terms include a lifetime limit of one service per account and other exclusions; read the eVPS terms of service to check whether your purchase qualifies.

RoseHosting’s surfaced pages describe fixed renewal pricing, but do not provide enough detail to summarize its refund terms. Check its current legal terms and checkout before paying. For either provider, read the complete SLA: the uptime headline alone does not establish which outages qualify, what exclusions apply, or how to claim a credit.

A practical decision checklist

Before choosing a plan, answer these questions:

  • Where are most of your visitors, and which server location best fits them?
  • How much transfer does the workload need, and do you prefer a stated allowance or unmetered transfer?
  • Can you administer Linux, or do you need the host to manage the server and software?
  • What backup retention and restore process do you require?
  • What is the full payment amount for your chosen billing term, including applicable taxes?
  • Does the SLA cover the failures that matter to you, and are its exclusions and claim steps acceptable?

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
