Yes. html.to.design has a Free plan for Figma users. Its official plan page currently lists up to 10 imports every 30 days, with no sign-up or credit card required. The free tier includes URL and browser-extension imports, multiple viewports, dark and light themes, missing-font downloads, and Discord support.

What does html.to.design do?

html.to.design converts website content into editable Figma designs, so you can use a website as a starting point for iteration, redesign, or benchmarking instead of recreating each element from scratch. It is offered as a Figma plugin and browser extension, not as a physical product. The official site and its documentation describe importing public pages by URL and using the extension for local, private, or logged-in pages.

Imports can include multiple viewports. The official feature information describes the service’s import and editing capabilities, but does not promise that every site will reproduce perfectly in Figma.

What do you get on the Free plan?

The official plan page currently lists Free at $0, with up to 10 imports every 30 days. It says no sign-up or card is required. The allowance is an import limit, not a stated limit on how long you may use the plan.

  • Import through a URL or the Chrome extension.
  • Use multiple viewports.
  • Choose dark or light themes.
  • Download missing fonts.
  • Get support through Discord.

These are the features stated on the official plan page; plan details and fees can change, so check the live listing before subscribing.

Free vs. PRO

The official plan page currently lists the following differences. Its prices are the displayed rates, not independently verified charges.

Plan Current listed price Import allowance Listed features
Free $0 Up to 10 imports every 30 days URL and extension imports, multiple viewports, dark/light themes, missing-font downloads, Discord support
PRO $12 per user per month with annual billing; $18 per user per month with monthly billing Described as unlimited, subject to a fair-use limit of 1,000 imports per month Free features plus high-resolution images, bulk imports, a re-import shortcut, and premium support

The prices and allowances above are what html.to.design currently displays; the official terms say fees may be adjusted. Review the current pricing page before choosing a plan.

When is PRO worth considering?

Free is likely sufficient if you are exploring the plugin or import only occasionally within its 10-import allowance. PRO is the relevant option if you regularly need more imports, bulk importing, high-resolution images, a re-import shortcut, or premium support. Account for the stated 1,000-import monthly fair-use ceiling even though PRO is marketed with “unlimited” imports.

Screenshot a page before bringing it into Figma

For a static visual reference, ScreenshotNeo is an alternative to try first: it provides clean website screenshots, bills only clean shots, and has a free allowance of 1,000 screenshots a month. It does not replace html.to.design’s conversion of website content into editable Figma designs.

Or skip the browser setup:

Make one GET request for a screenshot. See the ScreenshotNeo documentation for the API details.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp

ScreenshotNeo can accept cookie or consent banners and remove more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server provides screenshot tools for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients. The Free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month without a card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.
