What is Flight Centre Silver Annual Multi Trip?
It is an annual travel-insurance option for frequent travellers. Flight Centre says annual multi-trip plans let customers choose an option for the duration of each trip. An annual policy does not mean unlimited trip length or automatic cover for every journey. The maximum duration selected for each trip is important: the available policy wording says cover for a trip ends if that maximum is exceeded, among other ending conditions. A longer stay may therefore outlast the cover for that trip even if the annual policy period has not ended.
Who may qualify, and how long can each trip last?
CHOICE lists a maximum policy age of 79 and trip-duration options of 30, 45 or 60 days for Silver Annual Multi Trip. A retrieved PDS copy gives the same age and duration options, and says the policyholder must be over 18, insured people must be Australian residents, a policy can cover up to ten people, and children under 16 must be supervised by an adult. Those latter eligibility details come from a 2025 PDS copy hosted outside Flight Centre’s website, so confirm all eligibility rules in the current official wording before buying.

What does Silver cover?
The amounts below are limits shown in the available Flight Centre PDS document from 2025, with some also listed by CHOICE. Is the insurer and policy version clear?
No. Flight Centre’s current travel-insurance page identifies Europ Assistance Australia Pty Ltd as insurer and says Flight Centre distributes and administers the product as its authorised representative. CHOICE’s Silver Annual Multi Trip listing names Mitsui Sumitomo, and the retrieved 2025 PDS copy also names Mitsui Sumitomo. Annual multi-trip can be convenient when multiple journeys fit the policy’s destinations and duration rules. Whether Silver is appropriate—or good value—cannot be established without current quotes and the traveller’s itinerary. Compare these details against your actual travel pattern:
- Age and trip length: Confirm the age limit and whether the selected 30-, 45- or 60-day option covers every trip, including any extended stay.
- Domestic and international travel: Check which trips are covered, where cover applies and any destination exclusions.
- Cancellation: Use the limit on your certificate, then compare it with the non-refundable costs you need insured and the applicable excess.
- Medical and evacuation: Read the definitions and exclusions behind the headline overseas medical limit, including any conditions relevant to your health or activities.
- Baggage: Assess the combined limit alongside per-item caps, especially for electronics and other valuables.
- Delay and rental cars: Check the delay trigger and eligible expenses, and whether the rental-car excess benefit fits your vehicle and rental arrangement.
- Optional cover: CHOICE lists cruise and snow-sports cover as optional. Verify availability, eligibility and terms for your trip in the current wording.
