No. The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti does not support NVIDIA DLSS. NVIDIA’s current DLSS supported-hardware chart lists GeForce RTX 20, 30, 40, and 50 Series GPUs, and it does not list the GTX 10 Series, which the 1050 Ti belongs to.
What NVIDIA’s DLSS support chart shows
DLSS is tied to NVIDIA’s RTX graphics hardware. NVIDIA’s DLSS Technology page presents its supported-hardware chart by GeForce RTX generation. The chart covers RTX 20, 30, 40, and 50 Series cards. GTX 10 Series hardware, including the GTX 1050 Ti, does not appear in it.

NVIDIA’s GeForce series comparison page presents the GTX and RTX lines separately, which is consistent with the same split. NVIDIA does not publish a page that says in so many words “GTX 1050 Ti is unsupported by DLSS.” The conclusion follows from the chart and from the card’s series.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsWhy the GTX 1050 Ti appearing in driver listings does not change the answer
Searches for this question often turn up NVIDIA driver release pages that name the GTX 1050 Ti. For example, the GeForce Game Ready Driver 522.25 listing, dated October 12, 2022, includes the GTX 1050 Ti among supported GeForce 10 Series products.

- AI Performance: 767 AI TOPS
- OC mode: 2632 MHz (OC mode)/ 2602 MHz (Default mode)
- Powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4
- Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure
- A 2.5-slot design maximizes compatibility and cooling efficiency for superior performance in small chassis
A driver listing means NVIDIA ships driver support for the card. It does not mean the card can use every NVIDIA technology. DLSS is a feature gated by GPU hardware, so installing a newer driver will not enable it on a GTX 10 Series card. The same applies to the question “Will updating my GTX 1050 Ti drivers enable DLSS?” The answer is no. Current drivers remain worth installing for game compatibility and bug fixes, but they will not add DLSS.
If you want DLSS, check the feature and the card generation
If DLSS is the reason you are looking at upgrades, work through these checks before buying:
Rank #2
- Powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4
- Powered by GeForce RTX 5060
- Integrated with 8GB GDDR7 128bit memory interface
- PCIe 5.0
- WINDFORCE cooling system
- Confirm the exact DLSS feature. NVIDIA’s chart shows support by feature, not only by card. DLSS Super Resolution is listed for RTX 20 Series and newer. Newer frame-generation features have narrower series support, so check the chart for the specific feature a game uses.
- Look at RTX models, not GTX. A GeForce RTX graphics card is the relevant hardware path for DLSS. The research behind this article did not establish a specific model for any given system, so choose based on your own requirements.
- Check the rest of your system. Confirm the power supply wattage and connectors, case clearance for the card’s length and height, motherboard slot compatibility, and your budget.
- Re-check the chart before purchase. NVIDIA updates its DLSS support information over time, so confirm the current chart on the DLSS Technology page rather than relying on older articles, including this one.
What NVIDIA says about DLSS
NVIDIA’s official DLSS page describes the technology this way: “Maximize your performance, responsiveness, and image quality on GeForce RTX GPUs.” The page frames DLSS as an RTX feature, which is consistent with the chart.
Limits of this answer
This article covers DLSS support only. It does not estimate frame rates or compare performance for any game, and it does not predict how a specific RTX upgrade would perform on a GTX 1050 Ti system. Those results depend on the game, settings, and hardware involved, and no measured figures for this card are included here.
