A Game About Breaking A Cube is currently listed on Steam for a planned Q1 2027 release, but an official Nintendo Switch announcement could not be verified. Here is what the game is, what its demo offers, and what its developer says is planned.

Is A Game About Breaking A Cube coming to Nintendo Switch?

No Nintendo Switch version is confirmed by the official materials available. The game’s Steam listing presents it as a PC release, and the reviewed Steam and developer materials contained no Nintendo eShop listing or announcement from Imago or publisher Feardemic. That does not prove a Switch version will never happen; it means the claim is unverified. The developer’s plans for controller support do not establish a Switch port.

A June 9, 2026 Game*Spark report covered the announcement trailer and premise, but does not confirm a Switch release.

What do you do in A Game About Breaking A Cube?

Steam describes the game as “A dystopian horror sim.” You play a factory worker under the control of an evil corporation, breaking increasingly unusual cubes to collect ore and uncover the truth about NullCorp. The store description mentions cubes made of stone, metal, meat and stranger materials, tool upgrades, and exploration of an underground facility. It also describes relaxing at home with a can of “drinkable meat.”
