That is a ¥1,700 gap. Both list the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a 144Hz, 3168 × 1440 AMOLED display. The money goes to the X300 Ultra’s camera hardware (200MP main and telephoto). The iQOO 15 counters with a bigger battery and a lighter body.
All figures below are manufacturer specifications and China suggested prices from the official iQOO and vivo China product pages. They are not test results. Regional prices differ, and prices change.

At matched tiers the gap is ¥1,700 at 12GB/256GB, ¥1,500 at 12GB/512GB, and ¥1,500 at 16GB/512GB. The X300 Ultra’s two 1TB options differ by connectivity and bundle, so the 1TB prices are not like-for-like. The Photographer Kit includes extra imaging gear on top of the phone.
India snapshot
vivo’s India store page listed the X300 Ultra 16GB/512GB at ₹159,999 when it was accessed. A Smartprix comparison page, which said it was last updated on September 24, 2026, showed ₹159,999 for the X300 Ultra and ₹76,999 for the iQOO 15. That is a third-party snapshot, not a matched pair of official live prices. The configurations may not line up, and I did not find an official iQOO India store price to pair with vivo’s. Check current local listings before buying.

Where the specs are the same
Both official China pages name the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 on a 3nm process with an Adreno 840 GPU. Both also list 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. Matching platform specs do not guarantee matching real-world performance. Sustained frame rates and heat depend on cooling design, software tuning and power limits. The official pages do not settle those, so look for independent tests run under matching conditions.
vivo’s India spec page adds that actual charging power varies with use and needs the appropriate original charging setup.

Camera: the main reason for the price gap
The iQOO 15 has three 50MP rear cameras, including a 3x periscope telephoto. The X300 Ultra uses a 200MP 35mm main camera and a 200MP 85mm telephoto, plus a 50MP 14mm ultra-wide. vivo also lists optical image stabilization on all of its rear cameras. Resolution and focal lengths describe the hardware. They do not show which phone takes better photos, and no comparative image test is claimed here.

The X300 Ultra can also be extended with accessories. vivo’s India product page says: “vivo Imaging Grip Kit is compatible with X300 Ultra and need to be purchased separately.” The product materials also describe optional 200mm-equivalent and 400mm-equivalent telephoto extenders. None of these come in the standard box. Add their cost and local availability if you are pricing a full camera setup.

Battery, display and weight
- Battery: the iQOO 15 lists 7,000mAh typical capacity against 6,600mAh. With identical charging ratings, the larger cell is the iQOO’s on-paper advantage. Capacity is not a measured battery-life result.
- Display: the resolution and refresh class are the same. The iQOO panel is listed at 6.85in and the vivo at 6.82in, a negligible difference.
- Weight: the iQOO 15 weighs 215–221g depending on finish. The X300 Ultra weighs 232–237g, so it is heavier in every listed variant, by roughly 16–17g.
Which should you choose?
- iQOO 15: choose it if you want the larger battery, the lower price and the lighter body, with the same named chipset and a capable 50MP triple camera.
- vivo X300 Ultra: choose it if camera hardware is the priority, meaning the 200MP main and telephoto cameras, the ZEISS-branded multi-focal system, and the option of a grip or telephoto extender. You accept a higher price and more weight.
- If gaming or photo quality decides it: neither manufacturer’s pages establish a winner. Wait for independent tests on matching software.
The X300 Ultra is also the newer phone, launched in China in March 2026 against October 2025 for the iQOO 15.
