Prüfen Sie zusätzlich die Mitteilungsvorschauen und aktivieren Sie den Schutz für gestohlene Geräte. Diese Einstellungen begrenzen Zugriffe und sichtbare Informationen, bieten aber keine Garantie gegen Diebstahl oder Kontozugriff.
1. Gerätecode und Sperrbildschirm-Zugriffe prüfen
Der Code schützt den Zugang zum iPhone, doch einige Funktionen und Informationen können weiterhin vom Sperrbildschirm aus erreichbar sein. Apple nennt unter anderem Mitteilungszentrale, Kontrollzentrum, Siri, Antworten mit Nachricht, Wallet, verpasste Anrufe und USB-Zubehör als Zugriffsmöglichkeiten, die sich in den Code-Einstellungen verwalten lassen.

Code-Einstellungen öffnen
- Öffnen Sie Einstellungen.
- Tippen Sie auf Face ID & Code bei einem iPhone mit Face ID oder auf Touch ID & Code bei einem Modell mit Home-Taste.
- Geben Sie Ihren Gerätecode ein und prüfen Sie die verfügbaren Code-Optionen. Apple beschreibt einen sechsstelligen Code sowie vierstellige und eigene numerische oder alphanumerische Codes.

Funktionen einzeln abwägen
Gehen Sie in denselben Code-Einstellungen zu Im Sperrzustand Zugriff erlauben. Schalten Sie dort Funktionen aus, die Sie nicht benötigen, bevor Sie das iPhone entsperren. Prüfen Sie insbesondere Kontrollzentrum, Siri, Mitteilungen, Wallet, Antworten, Smart-Home-Steuerung und Widgets, soweit diese Optionen auf Ihrem Gerät angezeigt werden.

Weniger Zugriff kann persönliche Informationen verbergen: Ein Kalender-Widget könnte beispielsweise einen anstehenden Termin zeigen. Umgekehrt verlieren Sie den schnellen Zugriff auf deaktivierte Funktionen. Entscheiden Sie deshalb für jede Option, ob der Komfort auf dem Sperrbildschirm den möglichen Einblick oder die Aktion rechtfertigt. 2. Mitteilungsvorschauen und Widgets kontrollieren
Mitteilungen, Widgets und Mediensteuerungen sind eigene Informationsquellen auf dem Sperrbildschirm. Wählen Sie in den Mitteilungseinstellungen eine Vorschauanzeige, bei der vertrauliche Inhalte nicht unnötig sichtbar sind. Überlegen Sie auch, ob Widgets auf dem Sperrbildschirm persönliche Angaben offenlegen könnten. Die passende Einstellung hängt davon ab, welche Informationen Sie erhalten möchten, ohne das iPhone zu entsperren.

3. Schutz für gestohlene Geräte einschalten
Der Schutz für gestohlene Geräte ergänzt die normale Codesperre für den Fall, dass jemand das iPhone gestohlen hat und den Gerätecode kennt. Bei bestimmten sensiblen Aktionen verlangt das iPhone Face ID oder Touch ID, ohne auf den Code zurückzufallen. Für manche sicherheitsrelevanten Änderungen kann außerdem eine Sicherheitsverzögerung gelten: erst eine biometrische Bestätigung, dann eine Stunde Wartezeit und anschließend eine zweite biometrische Bestätigung. Die Verzögerung soll Zeit geben, das Gerät über „Wo ist?“ oder iCloud.com als verloren zu markieren und den Apple Account zu sichern.

Voraussetzungen und Schutzumfang
Apple nennt iOS 17.3 oder neuer als Voraussetzung. Außerdem müssen ein Gerätecode, Face ID oder Touch ID, die Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung für den Apple Account, „Wo ist?“ und Ortungsdienste eingerichtet sein. Schalten Sie die Funktion ein, bevor das iPhone verloren geht oder gestohlen wird.
Sie können festlegen, dass die zusätzlichen Schutzmaßnahmen nur außerhalb vertrauter Orte greifen, oder Immer wählen. Vertraute Orte sind etwa Zuhause oder Arbeit, also Orte, an denen das iPhone regelmäßig genutzt wird. Auch mit der Einstellung Immer kann für bestimmte Änderungen an sicherheitsrelevanten Einstellungen eine Verzögerung verlangt werden.

Funktion aktivieren
- Öffnen Sie Einstellungen und tippen Sie auf Face ID & Code oder Touch ID & Code.
- Geben Sie Ihren Gerätecode ein.
- Tippen Sie auf Schutz für gestohlene Geräte und schalten Sie die Funktion ein. Wählen Sie anschließend die gewünschte Ortsoption, sofern sie angeboten wird.

Bei USB-C führt Apple unter anderem Immer fragen, Bei neuen Zubehörgeräten fragen, Automatisch erlauben, wenn entsperrt und Immer erlauben auf; für Lightning-Geräte sind weniger Optionen verfügbar. Ein Zubehör kann verbunden bleiben, nachdem Sie das iPhone erneut gesperrt haben. Ein USB-Netzteil kann das iPhone auch im gesperrten Zustand laden.
