What the October 12 preparation may involve
A September 29, 2026 report from MacRumors says Apple’s Get Ready flow may let customers choose a color and capacity, confirm carrier status, select accessories or AppleCare+, choose a trade-in option, and enter payment and delivery details. Apple’s product page confirms the preparation date, but does not independently spell out those steps. The flow may change before it opens.
