How do the displays compare?
The V70 Elite has the larger listed screen: 6.59 inches versus 6.3 inches on the iPhone 18 Pro. Both manufacturers specify refresh rates up to 120Hz. Apple identifies its panel as OLED Super Retina XDR with ProMotion, while vivo lists an AMOLED display with 2750 × 1260 resolution. The supplied specifications do not establish a like-for-like brightness comparison, so the panel labels and diagonal alone cannot determine which screen looks better in use.

These are manufacturer-listed capabilities, not an independent assessment of image or video quality.

vivo specifies a 6,500mAh typical-capacity battery and 90W charging for the V70 Elite. Performance, storage and software support
The iPhone 18 Pro uses Apple’s A20 Pro processor; the V70 Elite uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. These model names identify different platforms, but without comparable independent benchmarks or workload testing they do not establish which phone is faster for a particular task.

Durability ratings and what they mean
Apple specifies IP68 for the iPhone 18 Pro and says it is rated for a maximum depth of 6m for up to 30 minutes under IEC 60529. vivo states IP68 and IP69 ratings for the V70 Elite under IEC 60529-2013. These ratings describe testing under specified conditions; they are not a promise that a phone is damage-proof, and water resistance can be affected by wear or damage.

The vivo prices are amounts displayed by its India store when retrieved in 2026, not a price history; availability can differ by configuration. Check the live store listing before buying.
Because the figures are from the US and India, subtracting them or calling one phone cheaper based on these snapshots would be misleading. A fair price comparison needs prices for both phones in the same country, at the same time, with equivalent storage, taxes and seller terms accounted for.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the iPhone 18 Pro if you want Apple’s listed iOS 27 platform, storage options up to 2TB, or its specified variable-aperture 48MP main camera.
