The iPhone 18 Pro and Google Pixel 11 both have 6.3-inch OLED displays, but the Pixel 11 has the lower listed U.S. MSRP: $899 versus $1,199 for the 256 GB models. That is a $300 difference at the matching storage tier. The better choice depends less on a single spec than on whether you prefer iOS and Apple’s device ecosystem or Android and Google’s Pixel features.

Which phone has the better display?
Both phones have the same nominal 6.3-inch OLED diagonal. Their published resolutions differ: Apple lists 2622 × 1206 pixels, while Google lists 1080 × 2424. The iPhone therefore has the higher stated pixel count. Both manufacturers describe refresh rates reaching 120 Hz, though Apple calls its adaptive technology ProMotion and Google gives a 60–120 Hz range. Those specifications do not, by themselves, establish which display looks better in everyday use.
Camera comparison: what the specifications can tell you
Google’s Pixel 11 specification page gives a detailed rear-camera breakdown: a 48 MP wide camera, a 13 MP ultrawide, and a 10.8 MP telephoto with 5× optical reach; Google also lists up to 30× Super Zoom. Apple describes the iPhone 18 Pro as having a triple-camera system and discusses camera upgrades, but the figures available here are not a matching, complete camera specification set.
The Pixel’s listed 5× telephoto is useful context if you often photograph distant subjects. It is not enough to declare a camera winner: megapixels and zoom labels do not capture image processing, video performance, low-light results, or consistency, and there is no equivalent test comparison established here.

Battery life and charging are not a direct numbers contest
Google lists a 4,985 mAh typical battery capacity and claims 30+ hours of battery life, with results dependent on usage. Apple claims up to 36 hours of video playback for the eSIM-only iPhone 18 Pro. Capacity and video-playback time measure different things, so these figures cannot show which phone lasts longer in the same person’s day.
Both include a USB-C cable but not a power adapter. Google says its stated fast wired charging requires a 30 W USB-C PPS charger or higher, sold separately. Apple recommends a compatible USB-C adapter; adapter compatibility and charging performance depend on the charger used.

The iPhone runs iOS 27 and fits most naturally if you already rely on Apple devices and services. Pixel 11 runs Android 17 and is the closer fit for people who use Google services or prefer Pixel software features. Your existing devices, accounts, accessories, and preferred apps can matter more day to day than the processor name alone.

Google states that Pixel 11 receives seven years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates, counted from when the phone first became available on the Google Store in the U.S. The cited Apple material does not establish an equivalent support-duration commitment, so this comparison cannot assign a matching support period to the iPhone.

Both phones are rated IP68, but that rating is not a promise that either device is waterproof or permanently water-resistant. Apple specifies testing under IEC 60529 and stated laboratory conditions. Google cautions that water resistance can diminish over time and that the Pixel is not drop-proof. Follow each manufacturer’s care guidance rather than treating the rating as protection from every spill, submersion, or impact.
Which should you buy?
Choose the Pixel 11 if
- You want the lower listed U.S. MSRP at either shared storage tier.
- A built-in 5× telephoto specification and Google’s stated seven-year update commitment are priorities.
- You prefer Android, Google services, or Pixel software features.
Choose the iPhone 18 Pro if
- You prefer iOS or already use Apple devices and services.
- You want the higher-resolution display specification or need storage above 512 GB; Apple lists configurations up to 2 TB.
- You want Apple’s A20 Pro platform, while recognizing that the available evidence does not establish a speed winner against Tensor G6.
Neither the published battery figures nor the available camera details establish a universal winner. For a purchase decision, weigh the storage tier and current local price alongside ecosystem fit and the camera features you actually use.
