The iPhone 17 and India-market OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini have almost identical screen diagonals, but differ in weight, camera hardware, charging and software. OPPO announced launch prices of ₹59,999 for 12GB + 256GB and ₹64,999 for 12GB + 512GB; a reliable current price gap cannot be calculated from changing listings without checking both phones at the same seller, on the same date, with storage and offers matched.

There is no dependable fixed price gap in the available retail snapshots. A 91mobiles comparison listing showed an iPhone 17 at ₹79,999 beside the Reno15 Pro Mini at ₹59,999, while another surfaced iPhone listing was ₹82,900. How to compare prices fairly
- Check both phones on the same day through the same retailer or equivalent authorised channels.
- Match storage: compare 256GB with 256GB or 512GB with 512GB. The OPPO configurations include 12GB RAM.
- Show bank-card, exchange and other conditional discounts separately from the listed price.
- Confirm the seller, exact model, stock and warranty before treating a listing as a usable offer.
Is the Reno15 Pro Mini actually smaller?
Not by screen diagonal: Apple specifies a 6.3-inch iPhone 17 display, while OPPO lists 16.05cm (about 6.32 inches) for the Reno15 Pro Mini. The “Mini” name does not mean it has a smaller screen than the iPhone 17. Weight also favours Apple: its stated 177g is below OPPO’s approximately 187g or 188g, depending on colour. For pocketability, compare the phones’ full dimensions and how they feel in person rather than relying on the product name or diagonal alone.
Which phone has the better cameras?
The hardware layouts are distinct. OPPO lists a 200MP wide camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5× optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP front camera with a 100° field of view. Apple lists a dual 48MP rear system and an 18MP Center Stage front camera.

Those megapixel counts describe resolution, not photo quality. The available specifications do not establish which phone produces better images, video or low-light results in a controlled comparison. If camera choice is decisive, consider the types of shots you take—especially whether you want a dedicated telephoto and a wide-angle selfie camera—and seek comparable sample photos or testing for the exact models.

OPPO specifies a 6200mAh typical battery (6035mAh rated) and charging up to 80W SUPERVOOC for the India model. Apple’s cited iPhone 17 specification material does not give a directly comparable battery-capacity figure. Capacity alone also does not establish how long a phone lasts: runtime depends on software, display use, network conditions and workload. Without like-for-like battery testing, neither phone can be declared the endurance winner from these figures.

What should import buyers check?
The Reno15 Pro Mini specifications and launch prices above refer to India; OPPO identifies the India model as CPH2813. Its India specification page lists dual physical SIM support and says eSIM and NFC are unsupported. Before importing either phone, verify the precise market model, supported network bands, SIM configuration, warranty coverage and local support. Do not assume that another country’s variant has the same features or that an Indian price translates into another market’s price.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the iPhone 17 if lower listed weight, iOS, or Apple’s 120Hz ProMotion display matters most to you.
- Consider the Reno15 Pro Mini if its India launch-price storage options, listed multi-camera hardware, large stated battery capacity or high-wattage charging are priorities.
- Wait for a like-for-like comparison if camera quality, battery life or the exact current price is the deciding factor; the specification figures alone do not settle those outcomes.
