The iPhone 15 is more compact, runs iOS, and offers Apple features including MagSafe and Qi2 charger support. There is no dependable like-for-like price verdict from the available figures: Nothing’s US store showed a current offer, while Apple’s iPhone 15 figure is its 2023 launch price.
At a glance: the main differences

How much do they cost?
Price depends on the date, seller, storage, region and promotion. Apple announced a US starting price of $799 for the 128GB iPhone 15 in September 2023; that is a historical launch price, not a verified current retail price. On October 7, 2026, Nothing’s US storefront displayed $419 for the 8GB/128GB Phone (4a) Pro, reduced from $499. That is a time-sensitive store offer, not a stable price.
Those two figures do not establish today’s price difference between equivalent phones. Before buying, compare current prices for the same storage capacity and market, and check whether each listing is unlocked or carrier-tied, who is selling it, and whether tax or promotion conditions affect the total.

Display and everyday handling
Nothing’s 6.83-inch screen is substantially larger on paper than the iPhone 15’s 6.1-inch-class display. That gives the Phone (4a) Pro the clearer fit for someone who prioritizes more screen area for video, reading or a broad interface. The iPhone’s smaller stated size may suit someone who prefers a more compact phone. Screen size alone does not establish which display looks better or is easier to use one-handed.
Nothing advertises adaptive refresh up to 144Hz. The Apple launch source cited here does not establish an iPhone 15 refresh-rate figure, so a direct refresh-rate comparison cannot be made from these specifications alone. See Nothing’s product specifications and Apple’s launch details.
Camera hardware: optical reach versus a different approach
Apple lists a 48MP main camera and a 2x telephoto option derived from the main camera system. Nothing specifies a three-camera rear system: a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom, and an ultrawide camera. On the stated hardware, Nothing offers a dedicated longer-reach optical telephoto camera; Apple’s listed 2x option is a different implementation.

- Heavy-duty bumper frame case
- Anti-slip embossed texture for a secure grip
- Non-yellowing TPU bumper and polycarbonate back
- Air Cushion Bumper design for enhanced shock protection
- Built-in strap holes to attach wrist straps and other accessories
Nothing also advertises up to 140x “ultra zoom.” That maximum is a manufacturer claim and does not show how much useful detail a photo retains at the far end. Megapixel counts and zoom labels are not image-quality tests. Apple describes computational photography and next-generation portraits in its launch announcement; that is Apple’s product positioning, not an independent comparison. Neither selfie-camera quality nor real-world image results are established by the cited material.
Performance and software
The iPhone 15 uses Apple’s A16 Bionic and iOS. Nothing specifies the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and Nothing OS, based on Android, with Essential AI tools on its product page. These are different platforms and software environments; no direct benchmark or comparative performance test is available here.
Choose based on the system you want to use and the services or devices you already rely on. The cited product pages describe features, but they do not establish a current, like-for-like software-support period for the two phones.

Charging and water resistance
Charging
Apple lists USB-C, MagSafe and support for future Qi2 chargers. Nothing specifies 50W wired charging. These are different considerations: one phone’s stated wired charging speed cannot be directly compared with another’s wireless accessory options. Check the regional listing and box contents before assuming a wall adapter is included; the Nothing support page identifies a USB-C cable in the box, but does not establish that a wall adapter is included. See Nothing’s product characteristics support page.
Water and dust
Apple rates the iPhone 15 IP68 under IEC 60529 and says its laboratory tests reached up to 6m for 30 minutes in controlled conditions; Apple also warns resistance may diminish. Nothing lists IP65 and describes testing under 25cm of water for up to 20 minutes. These are manufacturer ratings with different stated conditions, not a like-for-like durability test, and they should not be treated as a guarantee against water damage. Read the exact regional product information before relying on either rating.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Phone (4a) Pro if you want the larger advertised display, a dedicated periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, or Nothing OS based on Android.
- Choose the iPhone 15 if you prefer its smaller stated display size, iOS, or Apple’s MagSafe and Qi2-compatible charging ecosystem.
- Compare current listings before deciding on price. The available US figures refer to different dates and price contexts, so check matching storage, seller, carrier status, warranty and total cost.
For either model, confirm local network compatibility and warranty terms for the exact regional version. Nothing’s detailed specification page is for India, while its cited storefront is US-based; regional specifications and availability may differ.
