The iPhone 15 is the smaller iOS option; the iQOO 15 is a much larger Android-based phone with a listed 144Hz display and a dedicated 3x periscope camera. Neither is a universal winner: choose by preferred size and operating system, then compare current prices for the same storage tier in your country. The available price figures are from different markets and dates, so they do not establish a meaningful price difference.
iPhone 15 vs iQOO 15 at a glance
The figures below come from each manufacturer’s published specifications, not independent testing. The iQOO storage options shown globally may differ from what is sold in a particular country.

Choose the iPhone 15 for a smaller display
At 6.1 inches, the iPhone 15 has the more compact listed display. That makes it the more natural option if you prefer a smaller-screen phone; the published dimensions alone do not establish how either handset feels in the hand.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.1inch Super Retina XDR display. Aluminum with color-infused glass back. Ring/Silent switch
- Dynamic Island. A magical way to interact with iPhone. A16 Bionic chip with 5-core GPU
- Advanced dual-camera system. 48MP Main | Ultra Wide. Super-high-resolution photos (24MP and 48MP). Next-generation portraits with Focus and Depth Control. 4X optical zoom range
- Emergency SOS via satellite. Crash Detection. Roadside Assistance via satellite
- Up to 26 hours video playback. USB C, Supports USB 2. Face ID
Choose the iQOO 15 for a larger, faster-refreshing display
The iQOO 15’s 6.85-inch screen is substantially larger on paper, and its specifications list a 144Hz refresh rate. That combination may suit people who prioritize screen area or a high refresh-rate specification. The figures do not, by themselves, prove which screen looks better in everyday use.
How the operating systems and chips differ
The iPhone 15 runs iOS on Apple’s A16 Bionic chip. The iQOO 15 runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and lists a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. These are different platforms and chip generations; their names are not a like-for-like performance test. If you already prefer or rely on apps and services in one operating-system ecosystem, that preference may matter more to your purchase than the chip labels.

Camera hardware: a 2x option or a dedicated 3x periscope
Apple lists a 48MP main and 12MP ultrawide camera on the iPhone 15. Its 2x telephoto option is enabled by the quad-pixel main sensor rather than a separately listed telephoto camera. iQOO lists three 50MP rear cameras, including a dedicated 3x periscope camera. Those configurations describe hardware, not comparative photo quality: the specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos or video.

Battery and charging figures are not directly comparable
Apple rates the iPhone 15 for up to 20 hours of video playback, while iQOO lists a 7000mAh typical battery. One is a playback estimate and the other is a capacity figure, so neither proves which phone lasts longer for a particular person. Apple lists MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging up to 15W and says its fast-charge capability uses a 20W-or-higher adapter sold separately. iQOO lists 100W charging globally; its India store page also lists 40W wireless charging. Actual charging and battery experience can depend on conditions and configuration.

What the published prices do—and do not—show
There is no fair same-market, same-date price comparison in these figures. Apple announced the iPhone 15 with a U.S. starting price of $799 in September 2023; that is a historical launch price, not evidence of its current price or price in another country. Apple’s announcement also listed 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options. See Apple’s September 2023 launch announcement.
The iQOO India Store product listing displayed ₹85,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹93,999 for 16GB+512GB when accessed on October 7, 2026. These are India store prices for those configurations, not global prices; store discounts, exchange offers, color and checkout terms may affect the amount. The listing can change.

To work out a useful price difference, compare the two phones in your country on the same date and at the same storage tier where possible. Separate device-only prices from carrier plans, financing and trade-in offers, and check whether taxes are included. If storage tiers do not match, make that difference explicit rather than presenting the result as a like-for-like saving.
Durability and regional details to check
Apple specifies IP68 under IEC 60529 and a maximum depth of 6 metres for up to 30 minutes for the iPhone 15. iQOO’s global specifications list IP68 and IP69. These are manufacturer-stated ratings, not guarantees against every kind of water exposure or damage.
