Choose the iPhone 15 if you prefer a more compact phone, Apple’s iOS ecosystem, and its A16 Bionic chip. Neither phone is a universal winner, and the available specifications do not establish which has better camera quality, speed, or battery life. There is no verified current, like-for-like price pair here, so the price difference depends on your region, storage, condition, seller, and any offers.
iPhone 15 vs Galaxy S24 FE: key specifications
| Specification | iPhone 15 | Galaxy S24 FE |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR; 2556 × 1179 resolution, according to Apple | Samsung lists a 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display in the UK. Its India specification lists 1080 × 2340 resolution and 120Hz. |
| Processor | A16 Bionic, according to Apple | Exynos 2400e, according to Samsung’s India specification |
| Rear cameras | 48MP main and 12MP ultrawide; the main sensor enables a 2x telephoto option | 50MP, 12MP and 8MP cameras; Samsung lists 3x optical zoom |
| Battery information | Apple rates video playback at up to 20 hours and streamed video at up to 16 hours | 4,700mAh capacity in Samsung’s India specification |
| USB | USB-C for charging, DisplayPort and USB 2 data transfer up to 480 Mb/s | Not stated in the cited Samsung specifications |
These figures come from manufacturer specifications, not a comparable independent test. Samsung’s cited camera, processor, resolution and battery details are from its India product listing; confirm the exact model and network bands for your market. Apple’s figures are from its US technical-specifications page. Apple iPhone 15 technical specifications and Samsung UK Galaxy S24 FE specifications are useful starting points for checking regional details.

Which has the better screen?
The S24 FE is the larger-screen option and is explicitly listed with a 120Hz refresh rate. That can make scrolling and supported animations appear smoother than on a display without a high-refresh-rate specification. Apple lists the iPhone 15’s display as 6.1 inches, with a 2556 × 1179 resolution, but the cited iPhone specifications do not list a 120Hz refresh rate.
A refresh-rate figure does not settle overall display quality: brightness, color, viewing conditions and personal preference also matter. Choose the S24 FE if screen size and the stated 120Hz rate are priorities; choose the iPhone 15 if you want the smaller handset.

How do their cameras and zoom differ?
Apple lists a 48MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide. The main sensor also enables a 2x telephoto shooting option, but that is not a separate telephoto lens. Samsung lists three rear cameras—50MP, 12MP and 8MP—and 3x optical zoom for the S24 FE.
The practical distinction is the camera arrangement and listed zoom: Samsung specifies a separate 3x optical-zoom camera, while Apple describes a sensor-enabled 2x option. Megapixel counts and zoom specifications alone do not show which phone produces better photos. For a quality verdict, look for comparable tests under the conditions you care about, such as indoor portraits, moving subjects or low light.

Which phone is faster?
Apple names the A16 Bionic in the iPhone 15; Samsung names the Exynos 2400e for the cited India S24 FE configuration. Chip names are not a head-to-head performance result. No comparable benchmark or real-world test is established here, so it would be misleading to declare one faster from these specifications alone.
For everyday use, also consider the operating system and the devices and services you already rely on. The iPhone runs iOS; the Galaxy runs Samsung’s Android-based software. A preference for one ecosystem can matter more to your experience than a processor label.

Does either phone last longer on a charge?
The figures are not directly comparable: Apple states up to 20 hours of video playback and up to 16 hours of streamed video for the iPhone 15, while Samsung’s cited India specification gives the S24 FE a 4,700mAh battery capacity. Capacity is not a runtime measurement, and Apple’s playback figures are manufacturer ratings under specific test conditions; actual results vary. These numbers do not establish a battery-life winner.
How much do they cost, and what is the price difference?
A trustworthy price comparison needs current listings for the same country, storage capacity, condition and sales terms. The cited specifications do not provide a current, verified like-for-like price pair, so a specific price gap would be unreliable. Compare the actual checkout prices in your market rather than relying on old launch prices or search snippets.

- Match storage capacity and condition: new, refurbished and used phones are not equivalent offers.
- Check the seller, warranty and whether the price requires a trade-in, carrier plan or other promotion.
- Confirm that the model is the regional version you want, particularly if buying across borders.
Apple says the iPhone 15 supports USB-C charging and that its power adapter is sold separately. Check the bundle contents and adapter cost where you plan to buy; do not assume every listing includes the same accessories.

How long will they receive updates?
Samsung UK’s Galaxy S24 FE page gives a security-update-valid-until date of 31 October 2031. That date is specific to the cited UK listing. The sources here do not establish a comparable Apple end date, so they cannot support a direct claim that one phone will receive longer support than the other.
