InWin PRISM Mid-Tower: Features, Design and Compatibility

The InWin PRISM pairs three-piece mirrored panoramic glass with broad component and radiator support. Check its clearances, included fan variant and regional SKU before buying.

The InWin PRISM is an ATX mid-tower built around a three-piece panoramic tempered-glass design with a two-way mirror effect. Its specifications accommodate ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, graphics cards up to 435 mm long, and several radiator sizes. Four fans are listed as included, though the fan names and configurations vary across InWin’s regional materials; confirm the exact SKU before buying.

What makes the PRISM’s design distinctive?

InWin describes the PRISM’s side glass as a three-piece, spliced panoramic panel. The mirrored treatment is intended to make the interior appear more opaque when its lighting is off and more visible when internal lighting is on. That effect depends on the room and lighting conditions, so it is a design feature rather than a guaranteed appearance in every setup.

The chassis combines SPCC steel with tempered glass. In its April 1, 2025 launch announcement, InWin called the glass a “frameless glass wall” offering a panoramic view. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions, not independent assessments of build quality or durability. The PRISM measures 530 × 275 × 500 mm (20.9 × 10.8 × 19.7 inches) and weighs 10.01 kg (22.2 lb) according to the product page.

Which components fit inside?

InWin lists the following compatibility limits on its product page. Treat them as maximum specifications, not a substitute for checking the dimensions and placement of your specific parts.

Graphics card Up to 435 mm long
CPU air cooler Up to 175 mm high

Expansion slots Seven PCIe slots
Storage Two 3.5-inch bays and two 2.5-inch bays; the product page specifies 2.5-inch SSD height up to 7 mm

A GPU’s advertised length alone does not establish fit if its power connector, cable bend, or other components affect clearance. Check the manufacturer’s measurements against your complete build. InWin also cautions that specifications may vary by region; its store listing and manual differ in some details, so verify the model suffix and local SKU rather than assuming every listing describes the same configuration. What fans and radiators does it support?

The product page lists these fan positions and radiator sizes. Mounting support describes where hardware can fit; it does not establish measured temperatures, noise levels, or cooling superiority.

Rear One 120 mm fan 120 mm
Side Three 120 mm fans 240 mm or 360 mm

InWin lists four included fans, but its materials identify them differently: the product page names VX120 fans, the manual refers to VX120/VX120P, and the launch announcement describes VORTEX PWM ARGB fans, including standard and reverse-blade variants. Confirm which fans ship with the exact regional SKU. The announcement also describes removable fine-mesh dust filters and ten fan placements; those are manufacturer claims, not independent airflow or dust testing.

An included ARGB hub is listed as supporting six ARGB components. The product page also identifies an LED lighting control switch. Check the specific listing or manual for the details of the unit being sold.

Can you mount a graphics card vertically?

InWin lists a modular dual PCIe slot bracket and says a riser card is optional and not included. Vertical placement therefore requires an additional compatible riser; the manufacturer materials cited here do not establish a specific riser model as compatible. Check the card, cable interface, and case arrangement before purchasing one.

What ports are on the front I/O?

InWin’s product page lists one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a CTIA-compatible HD audio combo jack, and an LED lighting control switch. The official store listing also mentions a power button in its I/O description, while the product page’s list does not. For an exhaustive control layout, confirm the panel shown for your regional SKU.

Is the InWin PRISM worth considering?

The PRISM is most relevant if its mirrored panoramic glass is the main attraction and your build fits the listed clearances. Its published support for multiple motherboard sizes, up to 435 mm graphics cards, and several 240–360 mm radiator positions offers useful planning information, but those specifications do not prove how cool or quiet a finished system will run. Before ordering, confirm the local model’s fan package, front-panel details, and exact component clearances.
