Go to Tenant Administration > Customization. The options affect Company Portal apps and website, as well as the Intune app on Android; policy targeting and some settings vary by platform.
Where to configure Company Portal branding
Sign in to the Microsoft Intune admin center as an Intune administrator with sufficient permissions, then select Tenant Administration > Customization. Microsoft’s customization guide documents a default customization policy and up to 25 additional policies targeted to user groups. Device-group targeting is unsupported.

These are tenant configuration settings for Microsoft’s user-facing destination for accessing company resources, enrolling devices, installing apps, and finding IT assistance—not a separate branded Company Portal app. Microsoft lists the Company Portal for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS; users sign in with a work or school account. Choose the organization name, color, and header layout

When setting a theme, check that your logo remains legible against the chosen color. The header preview can help with logo placement, but it will not preview the organization name.

Prepare the two logo files and brand image
Intune provides separate logo upload fields for a theme-color background and a white or light background. Use artwork designed for each surface rather than assuming one version will be readable everywhere. For both logo fields, Microsoft accepts PNG, JPG, or JPEG and recommends a transparent background and image height greater than 72 px. Each file has a 750 KB maximum.
The brand image is a separate asset with different constraints. Microsoft accepts PNG, JPG, or JPEG, sets a 1.3 MB maximum, and recommends a width greater than 1125 px. It appears as the profile-page background in Company Portal for iOS/iPadOS and Windows and on the Company Portal website. In the Android Intune app, it appears in the app drawer and on the profile page.

Microsoft advises using an image that feels familiar and reflects the organization, not a generic stock image. If you do not have a suitable image, leave the field blank. Because cropping can differ by platform, device size, and orientation, allow background space around the focal point and consider how the image works in both landscape and portrait layouts. Microsoft also recommends removing unnecessary image metadata.

The support website name does not apply to the Android Intune app. If you enter a URL without a friendly name, some end-user experiences display the URL itself.
The privacy statement URL has a 79-character maximum. For iOS/iPadOS, you can also configure two separate privacy messages: one describing what support cannot see or do, and another describing what support can see or does. Each message allows up to 520 characters and supports Markdown.

Understand the adjacent end-user settings
Customization also includes controls that affect the Company Portal experience but do not change its branding. Check their scope and platform behavior before changing them.

The enrollment setting can make enrollment available with prompts, available without prompts, or unavailable. When it is unavailable, apps that require enrollment are hidden. There is an iOS/iPadOS exception: Automated Device Enrollment follows its out-of-box setup flow regardless of the Company Portal enrollment setting, and Company Portal prompts the user to sign in when opened.

Device-category prompt
If device categories are configured in the tenant, you can show or block the category prompt in Company Portal. After a user selects a category, the prompt does not appear again.
Application sources
You can choose whether to show Microsoft Entra Enterprise Applications, Office Online Applications, and Configuration Manager applications. Configuration Manager applications appear only in Windows Company Portal. Microsoft Entra and Office Online application sources are available in Windows Company Portal and the website.
Remove and Reset actions
You can customize the visibility of Remove and Reset actions for corporate Windows and iOS/iPadOS devices. Hiding a control restricts that action in Company Portal; it does not create device-restriction policies that prevent a factory reset or MDM removal from the device’s settings. These action-visibility customizations are available only in the default policy, not in group-targeted policies.
Choose policy scope before rollout
Use the default policy for tenant-wide settings and group-targeted policies when different user groups need different experiences. Because device-group targeting is unsupported, do not plan policy assignment around device groups. Also note that Remove and Reset visibility controls are limited to the default policy.
Before assigning a policy broadly, review how the logos, image, support details, and relevant app sources appear on the platforms your users rely on. Microsoft’s documented platform-specific behavior—particularly the Android app’s brand-image placement and the iOS/iPadOS enrollment exception—can affect what users see.
