Intel’s Arc graphics driver page lists Game On support for Gears of War: E-Day and ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE on Arc A-series and B-series graphics, plus Core Ultra processors with integrated Arc graphics. That is a compatibility listing—not a frame-rate promise. Laptop and prebuilt-PC owners should also check their manufacturer’s driver guidance before installing Intel’s generic package.

Which Intel graphics products are listed?

Intel’s US Arc graphics download page includes both games in its Game On Driver support list. The listed graphics include Intel Arc A-series and B-series GPUs and Core Ultra processors with integrated Arc graphics. Intel’s download page also identifies the Alchemist and Battlemage graphics families.

The listing means Intel identifies the driver as supporting the games on those graphics platforms. It does not establish how either game will perform on a particular PC or guarantee identical results across systems.

Which Windows versions are listed?

In the page capture accessed October 3, 2026, Intel lists Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 21H2, 22H2, 23H2, 24H2, 25H2 and 26H2. Because Intel’s download page is dynamic and its compatibility list can change, check the live page before downloading.

How to identify the driver version—and what is not confirmed

Intel’s regional download page identifies package version 32.0.101.9033 WHQL for Arc B-series, Arc A-series and Core Ultra processors with Arc graphics. However, the available Intel page captures do not consistently establish that this was the first release to add both games, or confirm a first-support date. Treat 32.0.101.9033 as a version listed on Intel’s download page, not as a verified first-support release.

Should you install Intel’s generic driver or your PC maker’s driver?

Intel says its generic graphics drivers provide current Intel features and fixes, while computer manufacturers may customize drivers for a particular system. Installing Intel’s generic package overwrites the OEM graphics driver. Intel advises corporate customers to use OEM drivers.

Gears of War: E-Day’s shader feature is separate from driver support

Microsoft’s DirectX Developer Blog describes Advanced Shader Delivery (ASD) as a way to include precompiled shaders in a game download. This can reduce shader work the CPU must do when the game starts and help reduce stutter caused by runtime shader compilation. ASD is a game and platform feature, not an effect Intel attributes to its Game On driver listing.

  • OC Edition Boost Clock: 2760MHz
  • TORN Cooling 2.0
  • Metal Backplate
  • Blue Breathing Light
  • Graphic card sag bracket

In an October 1, 2026 post, Microsoft says ASD reduces shader compilation time for Gears of War: E-Day by approximately 95%. That figure describes compilation time—not a general increase in frame rate or a result from testing Intel’s driver. Microsoft also says first-launch compilation with ASD takes seconds, compared with several minutes on a typical PC without it.

Microsoft specifies Windows 11 24H2 or higher for ASD and calls Gears of War: E-Day the first title supporting the feature across the expanded Windows ecosystem. Its post says Intel Arc B570 and B580, and Intel Core Ultra Series 2 and Series 3, were planned for ASD support later in October 2026. That is Microsoft’s feature-support schedule; it should not be read as confirmation that every Intel GPU gets ASD.

What to check before downloading

  1. Identify your graphics hardware. Confirm that your PC uses Arc A-series or B-series graphics, or a Core Ultra processor with integrated Arc graphics.
  2. Check your Windows release. Compare it with Intel’s current operating-system list on the US driver page.
  3. Check OEM guidance. For a laptop or prebuilt computer, consult the manufacturer’s driver and support page before installing Intel’s generic package.
  4. Choose the feature you need. Intel’s Game On list covers driver support for the two games; Microsoft’s ASD support is a separate feature with its own Windows and hardware requirements.
