The Infinix Note Edge is the spec-sheet pick for a curved 1.5K display and a larger stated battery; the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G offers a published update commitment and a higher-resolution front camera. A 91mobiles listing showed the Redmi ₹2,000 cheaper when accessed, but that retailer snapshot can change. Neither phone can be called the tested overall winner on the available evidence: comparable independent performance, camera and battery tests are not established.

Which phone has the better display?

The Infinix advertises a marginally larger 6.78-inch curved 1.5K AMOLED panel, with peak brightness claimed up to 4500 nits. Xiaomi specifies a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen at 2392 × 1080 and 120Hz, and lists peak-brightness figures on its product page.

These figures do not establish which screen looks better in ordinary use. The stated peak-brightness claims may not describe brightness sustained across the whole screen, and the phones’ published resolution and display claims are not directly interchangeable. Choose the Infinix if the curved design and its 1.5K positioning appeal to you; consider the Redmi if the explicitly listed 120Hz refresh rate matters most. Neither specification alone settles viewing quality.

How do their processors compare?

The Note Edge uses MediaTek Dimensity 7100, while the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The chipset names identify different platforms, but they do not show which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads. No matched independent benchmark or real-game comparison is established here, so a performance winner cannot be claimed from the chip names alone.

Which has the better camera?

On the published specifications, the Redmi is the more clearly specified choice for selfies: Xiaomi lists a 20MP front camera. Its rear setup comprises a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. Infinix lists a 50MP main camera and highlights Live Photo mode; the front-camera resolution was not confirmed in the official product details reviewed.

Megapixel counts and camera features do not establish photo quality. The available information does not provide comparable photo samples or tests for low light, video or stabilization. If selfies are a priority, the Redmi’s stated front-camera resolution is a concrete specification to weigh, not proof that it takes better selfies.

Does the Infinix battery last longer?

Infinix lists a 6500mAh battery; Xiaomi lists 5800mAh. Both specify 45W charging. That gives the Note Edge the greater stated capacity, but capacity alone cannot guarantee longer battery life: actual runtime depends on the phones’ hardware, software, settings and use. Comparable battery-runtime results are not established.

How many years of updates does each phone get?

Xiaomi states that the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will receive four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. Infinix highlights XOS 16 for the Note Edge, but a comparable official update-duration commitment was not established. The Redmi therefore has the clearer published support timeline; the available information does not support a like-for-like claim about which phone will receive updates longer.

What is the price difference?

When accessed in 2026, 91mobiles showed the Infinix Note Edge at ₹26,999 on Flipkart and the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G at ₹24,999 on Amazon—a ₹2,000 difference in that listing snapshot. These are retailer listing amounts, not confirmed official prices, and can change with the seller, stock, offers and selected configuration. Check the live listing before buying.

Both manufacturers list 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations. Compare the same RAM and storage variant on both listings; a price comparison across different configurations may not be meaningful. Source for the retailer snapshot: 91mobiles’ comparison listing.

Which phone should you choose?

  • Choose the Infinix Note Edge if the curved 1.5K display and larger stated battery capacity are the specifications you value most.
  • Choose the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G if Xiaomi’s published four-year OS and six-year security-update commitment, its specified 20MP front camera, or the lower price in the accessed listing snapshot fits your priorities.
  • Before paying, match the RAM and storage configuration and confirm the current price and seller. If camera quality, real-world speed or battery runtime will decide the purchase, seek comparable tests rather than treating specifications as test results.
