At the listed sale prices, the Note Edge is ₹2,000 more: ₹26,999 compared with ₹24,999 for the Hot 70 Pro. The regular prices shown on those product pages are ₹34,999 and ₹32,999 respectively, also a ₹2,000 difference. Treat these as manufacturer India storefront snapshots rather than fixed prices across retailers. An independent comparison page lists a different Hot 70 Pro price of ₹23,999, so retailer listings and offers may not match Infinix’s direct-store figure. Which display is better for your priorities?
Choose Note Edge for AMOLED and higher resolution
The Note Edge has a 6.78-inch curved 1.5K AMOLED panel with a stated 120Hz refresh rate. It is the more suitable specification set if you prioritize AMOLED contrast and the higher listed resolution for video, reading or general viewing.
Choose Hot 70 Pro for the higher refresh-rate figure
The Hot 70 Pro has a slightly smaller 6.76-inch FHD+ LCD and a maximum stated refresh rate of 144Hz. That gives it the higher refresh-rate specification, but it does not establish that the phone will feel faster in every app or that every app will use that rate. In short, the choice is AMOLED and 1.5K resolution on the Note Edge versus the Hot 70 Pro’s higher refresh-rate ceiling.
Do they have the same performance and software?
Infinix lists the Dimensity 7100 on the Note Edge page and the Dimensity 7100 5G on the Hot 70 Pro page. That places both in the same named chipset family, but the listing alone does not prove equal measured performance. No controlled, comparable benchmark results are established here, so neither should be called faster on that basis. Both product pages list XOS 16 with Android 16.

How do storage, cameras and battery differ?
Storage configurations
The Note Edge is listed in three configurations, including an 8GB/256GB option. The Hot 70 Pro page lists 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. If you need the larger listed storage capacity, the Note Edge is the option with a 256GB configuration; confirm that the specific variant is available at the price you are comparing.
Camera hardware
Both phones have a listed 50MP rear main camera. The Hot 70 Pro listing identifies its sensor as a Sony IMX882, while the Note Edge page lists a 50MP main camera without that sensor detail. The Note Edge’s front camera is listed at 13MP and the Hot 70 Pro’s at 8MP. Pixel counts and sensor names do not by themselves establish which phone takes better photos; comparable camera testing would be needed for that conclusion.
Battery capacity and charging
The Note Edge is listed with a 6,500mAh battery and 45W charging, and its product page also advertises bypass charging. The Hot 70 Pro is listed with a 6,000mAh battery and 45W charging. Capacity is not the same as real-world battery life, which depends on usage and other conditions; these figures do not establish which phone lasts longer between charges.

What do IP65 and IP68 mean for these phones?
Infinix lists an IP65 rating for the Note Edge and IP68 for the Hot 70 Pro, so the Hot 70 Pro has the higher stated ingress-protection rating. These codes describe protection against dust and water under specified test conditions; they do not mean a phone is waterproof or guarantee protection in every real-world exposure. Check the manufacturer’s care and warranty terms before exposing either device to water.
Which phone should you buy?
- Choose the Note Edge if you value a curved 1.5K AMOLED display, the larger listed battery capacity, the higher-resolution selfie camera specification or the 256GB storage option, and are willing to pay the higher listed sale price.
- Choose the Hot 70 Pro if the lower manufacturer-store sale price, 144Hz maximum refresh-rate specification or official IP68 rating matters more to you.
- Compare both carefully if you are choosing mainly for performance, camera quality or battery life: the listed specifications do not establish a winner in those real-world categories.
What to verify before ordering in India
- Confirm the exact phone name and model. Infinix’s Indian product page calls it “Hot 70 Pro” and identifies model X6896; some third-party listings append “5G” or “5G+,” while others omit a suffix.
- Check the selected memory and storage variant, its availability and its live price on the product page.
- Confirm network-band compatibility for your carrier, along with warranty terms for the specific regional model.
- Compare the final checkout price rather than assuming that a manufacturer’s listed promotion will match a retailer’s offer.
