Neither is a universal winner: Incogni focuses on recurring requests to remove personal information from data brokers and people-search sites, while Coveron focuses on identity monitoring and recovery support. Coveron’s Full Protection plan includes Incogni, so it is the option to consider if you want both kinds of service. A 2025 study offers encouraging but limited evidence about Incogni’s removal performance; it did not test Coveron’s monitoring.
What do Coveron and Incogni do?
Incogni submits automated, recurring opt-out requests to data brokers and people-search sites it covers. Coveron provides identity-theft and cyber-protection features, including monitoring, alerts and recovery support; benefits and insurance are subject to the plan’s terms. Coveron’s Full Protection bundle includes Incogni, bringing data removal and monitoring together.

Coveron describes the services as complementary, not interchangeable. Incogni’s removal function should not be mistaken for credit or dark-web monitoring, and Coveron’s standalone service should not be assumed to remove broker records. Coveron’s product comparison is the company’s description of how the services differ.

A 2025 peer-reviewed study by He and colleagues reported that Incogni removed an average of 76.6% of identified records per participant after one month, the highest successful removal rate among the four services tested. Across those services, the average was 48.2%. The study tested Incogni, Optery, Kanary and Mozilla Monitor—not Coveron—so its result is evidence about Incogni’s broker-removal performance, not a direct Coveron-versus-Incogni verdict. Read the study, “Measuring the Accuracy and Effectiveness of PII Removal Services.”
#1 Best Overall
Interpret the figure as a bounded result, not a guarantee. The study ran for one month, involved a limited participant sample and four services, and measured records identified by the services and their reported removal statuses. The authors caution that typical users could see different outcomes; the paper does not establish that removed information stays gone. It also found low overlap in broker coverage, with an average Jaccard similarity of 0.21, suggesting that advertised site counts alone do not establish which service will find or remove the records that matter to you.
No independent same-task head-to-head test of Coveron and Incogni is available in the cited evidence. Their core outcomes differ, so a single performance score would be misleading.
How do plans, coverage and prices differ?
Incogni: removal scope and household plans
Incogni lists Standard, Unlimited, Family and Family Unlimited plans. Standard automates requests to brokers in its covered network; Unlimited adds custom requests to sites outside Standard’s supported list, handled by privacy specialists. The company says its Family plan covers the subscriber and four additional members. Its pricing page advertises coverage of 420+ broker sites and 245+ million completed requests—company-reported scale figures, not a promise that a particular record will be found or removed. Incogni also warns that some requests can take more than 30 days. Check Incogni’s current plans and terms.

Coveron’s Full Protection tier is the one listed with Incogni and a broader group of features, including three-bureau credit monitoring, dark-web monitoring, insurance benefits, VPN and antivirus. Check the actual plan terms for monitoring limits, recovery support and insurance conditions. Coveron’s pricing page offers individual and family formats and monthly, annual and two-year terms.
When accessed in 2026, Coveron displayed two-year individual introductory rates of $4.99 per month for Scam Protection, $6.99 per month for Identity Theft Protection and $10.99 per month for Full Protection. First-year displays on that page were $5.99, $7.99 and $10.99 per month, respectively. These are observed promotional displays, not stable quotes; monthly-billed rates are shown separately, and the renewal price and billing terms should be checked at checkout. Availability depends on the plan and country
Incogni’s Help Center says its Protect plan is available only to U.S. residents. Separately, Coveron’s pricing page lists Incogni as included in Coveron plans for residents of the U.S., U.K., EU, Canada and Switzerland. These refer to different plan contexts, not one universal availability rule. Confirm eligibility for the precise plan and country before subscribing. Incogni Protect availability information.
