Its main trade-offs are a proprietary control panel, no root access on managed hosting, and plan limits that require careful comparison. The company refreshed its shared plans in August 2026. What is ICDSoft?
ICDSoft sells shared web hosting, WordPress hosting, managed VPS and related services. Its shared hosting plans are Core, Advanced, Professional and Launch. The company says Launch is intended for WebApps and Node.js workloads; those resources are optional paid upgrades on Core, Advanced and Professional. Multi-site account isolation
ICDSoft says websites within one account share a security and administrative boundary, and recommends separate accounts for independent sites. If one site belongs to a client, has different administrators, or needs stronger separation from other projects, account count and the associated cost matter as much as the headline website allowance. What features does ICDSoft advertise?
ICDSoft promotes daily backups with seven-day retention, free site migration, free SSL, CDN availability and 24/7 support. Its WordPress page describes a management interface for one-click installation, backup and restore, user management, password resets, quick updates, HTTPS activation and staging. The company also states a 99.9% uptime guarantee on that page. These are vendor-stated features and a guarantee, not independent evidence of achieved uptime or performance. For WordPress users, staging and restore tools can simplify routine maintenance, but a staging environment is not a replacement for a separate backup or a tested recovery plan. Confirm how backups can be restored, whether restore is self-service, and whether the relevant features apply to the plan you intend to buy.
How different is ICDSoft from cPanel hosting?
ICDSoft says it develops its own control panel rather than using cPanel. Its hosting FAQ says the service is managed, end users do not receive root access, and SSH is available but disabled by default. This setup may be convenient for customers who prefer a provider-managed environment, but it can create migration friction for people accustomed to cPanel workflows or scripts that assume cPanel features. Developers needing root-level packages or server customization should treat the lack of root access as a potential blocker. The company lists support for applications and languages including WordPress, Joomla, Magento, WooCommerce, Nextcloud, PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, TCL and MySQL. That broad list is useful for an initial compatibility screen, but it does not guarantee every application version, plugin, dependency or configuration will work on a given plan. What does ICDSoft cost, and what are the guarantees?
There is no single durable price to quote from the available plan information: ICDSoft pricing can vary by plan, region, billing term, promotion and account quantity. The live offer should be compared using the currency and term shown at checkout, with both introductory and renewal amounts recorded. The August 2026 announcement lists one-, 12- and 24-month billing periods; it does not make a promotional monthly equivalent a substitute for the total due or renewal rate. ICDSoft’s terms state a 15-day money-back period for a one-month account and a 100-day guarantee for annual billing. Domain registration and SSL fees are non-refundable on early termination. Volume discounts are not ordinary retail prices
The August 2026 announcement describes a volume-discount program: new-order discounts of 50% for one to nine accounts and 90% for 10 or more; renewal discounts scale up to 20% for accounts numbering 50 or more. These are provider-published program terms tied to account quantity, not a price basis that every individual customer should assume applies. On June 9, 2026, ICDSoft announced that it received Review Signal’s Top Tier award in the 2026 WordPress hosting performance benchmarks in the under-$25-per-month tier. ICDSoft says its submitted plan cost $10 per month before its discount policy and describes the results as strong across tested categories. Those price and award details are the company’s account; this review did not access the detailed benchmark dataset or independently test the service. Treat the award as useful external recognition reported by the vendor, not as a substitute for checking the benchmark’s methodology, test configuration and results. ICDSoft also reported on January 26, 2026 that HostAdvice named it a Top 10 Linux Hosting Provider for 2026. The company says HostAdvice measured a four-minute support reply and highlighted loading speed, CDN, pricing and panel usability. Without the original review and methodology, those are best read as ICDSoft’s summary of HostAdvice’s findings, not a fresh support-response test or independently verified speed result. No independently verified year-round uptime series, latency-by-region dataset or current like-for-like comparison with named competitors is established here. The 99.9% figure is ICDSoft’s stated guarantee, not a measured uptime result.

- It may not fit: users who require cPanel specifically, root access, or server-level control on managed hosting.
- Agencies should check: how many separate accounts they need for security and administration, and whether the volume-discount program applies to their situation.
- Before migrating: inventory required applications, versions, email setup, scheduled tasks, SSH use, backups, deployment tools and any cPanel-dependent processes. Confirm compatibility and recovery options with ICDSoft before changing DNS.
How to compare ICDSoft with another host
Compare equivalent plans and contract terms rather than headline monthly prices. A practical shortlist should capture:
- Renewal price for the same region, billing term and currency.
- Website and storage limits, plus workload-specific resource restrictions.
- Backup frequency, retention and restore process.
- Migration assistance, CDN and server/location options.
- WordPress staging and management tools, and email requirements.
- Control-panel portability, SSH availability, root access and account isolation.
- Support channels and independently measured response evidence.
- Uptime methodology, measured performance and refund terms.
