1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsAfter 14 days of using a foldable mouse, keyboard and webcam alongside a walking pad, Ashley Thieme found that the biggest change was not a measured boost in comfort or productivity. It was a clearer mental boundary between work and home: putting the gear away helped her room feel less like an office when the workday ended.
This account is a personal routine experiment, not a controlled test of ergonomics or work performance. Thieme’s observations can help you think through whether fold-away equipment fits your own room and habits, but they do not establish that the products will feel or work the same for everyone.

What changed over the 14 days
Thieme used a laptop, mouse, webcam, keyboard and walking pad as a foldable workspace. She had already tried several foldable products before starting the experiment. At first, she had to remind herself to put the equipment away at the end of the day. Over time, the steps became second nature: she snapped the Logitech Mobi Fold shut, moved the folded Keychron B11 Pro aside and clipped the OBSBOT Meet Flip together.

The main payoff she described was a more distinct transition between working and relaxing in the same room. In her words, “There is now a clear distinction in my mind between how a room looks when it’s an at-home office and when it’s just my home.”

How the individual products fit her routine
Logitech Mobi Fold folding mouse
The Logitech Mobi Fold collapses into a small square, and sensors detect whether it is folded or in use. Thieme found it comfortable and said its folded shape supported her hand. Those are her impressions rather than the results of a comparative comfort test.
Keychron B11 Pro foldable keyboard
The B11 Pro has a split Alice layout. Thieme needed time to adjust to the layout; after that, she found it natural, more comfortable and more efficient for her. Folding it away also reduced the visible desk clutter. The article reports no measured typing speed or accuracy results.

OBSBOT Meet Flip webcam
The webcam measures 1.8 × 1.6 × 0.7 inches when folded, according to the article. Its folding top doubles as a privacy cover and allows the camera angle to be adjusted. Thieme liked the range of angles and found the camera straightforward to store.

What the experiment can—and cannot—tell you
The account points to practical questions worth asking before you build a foldable workspace: how much space each item takes when stored, how easily it can be packed away, whether its setup or adjustment gets in the way, and whether it suits the routine you actually want. Thieme’s experience suggests that the storage habit may take deliberate reminders at first before it becomes easier to maintain.

It does not establish that a foldable setup improves ergonomics, typing performance or productivity. There were no independent ergonomics measurements or controlled comparisons in the account, and comfort and efficiency were Thieme’s own judgments. A room may also offer less benefit from stowing gear if it is already used only as an office or has dedicated storage.
