If a Hyperliquid withdrawal has not arrived, first check whether you made a cross-chain Withdrawal or an internal Send. The distinction determines where the funds went and what evidence to check. Hyperliquid’s documentation says L1 validators sign withdrawal requests for the bridge contract; that describes the documented process, not a guarantee that a particular withdrawal will succeed or that every current bridge risk is eliminated.
What validators do when you withdraw
Hyperliquid’s API documentation says that after a withdrawal request is made, “the L1 validators will sign and send the withdrawal request to the bridge contract.” Validators therefore have a role in processing the documented withdrawal path; the statement does not mean that funds move without validator involvement.

A 2024-era Zellic audit report says that, assuming validator power is equally distributed, at least two thirds of validators would need to sign a withdrawal. Treat that as a finding about the report’s scope and assumptions, not as independent verification of the exact threshold in the current deployment. Hyperliquid’s audit index labels the Zellic-audited bridge contract as legacy. An audit covers the contract and scope examined; it does not certify every current contract, validator operation, website, or user action as safe.

Send and Withdrawal are different actions

Hyperliquid’s withdrawal FAQ puts it plainly: “Send is used to send tokens to another account on the Hyperliquid blockchain. It is not to withdraw to another blockchain.”
How to diagnose a withdrawal that has not arrived
- Open the history. Go to the Portfolio page and find the Deposits & Withdrawals table.
- Read the Action column. “Send Spot” or “Send USDC (Perps Wallet)” indicates an internal transfer, not a cross-chain withdrawal. Follow the Send guidance above.
- If the action is “Withdrawal,” check its status. Use the relevant branch below rather than treating every delay as a failed transfer.
Pending
Check the estimate shown in the withdrawal modal and wait for that period to pass. Hyperliquid notes that network congestion can extend processing time. The estimate is not a guaranteed deadline.

Use the explorer link beside the timestamp to inspect the transaction and the destination address that received it. If the address is not one you control, do not assume support can reverse the transfer.

Fees and timing depend on the route
The API guide quotes a $1 fee and an approximate five-minute finalization time for the flow it describes, qualified as accurate “at the time of this writing.” Hyperliquid’s withdrawal onboarding guidance says fees can vary by chain and method. Check the live interface for the fee and estimate on your selected route; neither the API figure nor the modal estimate is a universal guarantee.

- Verify the destination address carefully, then send USDC to another address you control on Hyperliquid and withdraw from that address, as the withdrawal FAQ suggests.
- Alternatively, contact the bot’s support through a channel you have independently verified.
- Do not respond to unsolicited direct messages claiming to offer help. Check the full website address and use the official support routes described in Hyperliquid’s support guide.
What to do if your wallet may be compromised
Hyperliquid’s compromised-wallet guidance treats a compromised address as permanently unsafe. If you suspect someone has your key, act to contain further losses:

- Create a new wallet through a trusted provider, using a device and setup you consider safe.
- Move remaining assets if possible. This is time-sensitive and depends on whether the compromised wallet can still sign transactions. It is not a recovery guarantee; a transfer already completed may not be reversible.
- Revoke contract permissions where appropriate, and check for malware if your device may be affected.
- Never disclose your seed phrase or private key. Hyperliquid’s support guide warns: “Never share your wallet, seed phrase, password, or private key with anyone or any website.”
A hardware wallet is an optional self-custody measure for future use. Hyperliquid names Ledger, Trezor, and Keystone as examples and explains that a hardware wallet can pair with a browser wallet while keeping the private key off the browser. It cannot undo an already completed transfer or make a stolen key safe again.
Contacting support safely
Start from Hyperliquid’s official support guide to find its ticket or email routes. Verify the full website URL and avoid unsolicited DMs: impersonators may pose as support. Never give support—or anyone else—a seed phrase, private key, or password.
