Human Resource Machine does not have a general cheat-code list documented by its developer. In this programming puzzle, “codes” are the command sequences you write to solve levels. Does Human Resource Machine have cheat codes?
Tomorrow Corporation’s official game page and FAQ describe the game’s programming commands and ways to get help, but do not document a universal cheat-code system. That is a narrow statement about the official materials, not proof that no version or community has ever had a secret code.

Here, a “code” is best understood as a program you build for the office worker. The game presents each level as a task from the boss: use commands to move and manipulate numbered boxes between the inbox, storage slots, and outbox. Tomorrow Corporation describes the idea simply: “programming is just puzzle solving.”
What counts as completing a level?
The developer says players start with two commands and gradually learn a language of eleven commands. Your first goal is to make a program that completes the level’s task. Optional challenges then test other qualities of that program, including its size and execution speed; they are separate from basic completion.

- Optimize size: meet the level’s program-size challenge.
- Optimize speed: meet its execution-speed challenge.
A program that completes a level is not automatically a solution to either optimization challenge. Treat each goal separately, and check the level’s stated requirement before deciding your work is finished.
How to get unstuck without spoiling the level
The developer’s FAQ recommends stepping through the program one command at a time and watching the worker. This helps locate the first incorrect action rather than focusing only on the final failure. If you still need help, the FAQ also points players toward community hints and level solutions.
- Run one command at a time. Watch which box the worker holds and what changes in the inbox, outbox, or storage.
- Find the first point where the state is wrong. Check the command and the value it acts on before the run goes further.
- Try a hint before a full solution. Community hints can preserve more of the puzzle than copying a complete program.
- Use a full solution only for the goal you need. A solution that completes the task may not meet the level’s size or speed target; those need to be checked against the relevant challenge.
Human Resource Machine achievements: what to expect
The Steam store listing shows 16 Steam achievements for the Steam edition. The Steam achievement page includes career milestones, optimization-related goals, and conditions that require solving for selected inputs while failing on other possible inputs.

- Career progress: advance through the game’s levels.
- Optimization: meet a level’s program-size or speed target.
- Special conditions: satisfy a particular input-and-output requirement, which may deliberately involve not handling every possible input.
The count is specific to Steam; it should not be assumed to describe achievements on every platform. Steam lists October 15, 2015 as the game’s release date.

Tomorrow Corporation lists its own store, Steam, GOG, and Humble Store, as well as Wii U eShop, Apple App Store, and Google Play options on its official game page.
