A strong sponsorship email is brief, specific to the brand, and easy to answer. Explain why your audience fits, include one or two relevant proof points, suggest a realistic content idea, and make one clear ask. No email format can guarantee a reply, but a tailored pitch gives the recipient enough context to judge whether a conversation makes sense.
What to include in a sponsorship pitch email
Build the message around the recipient’s decision: Is this creator relevant to our brand, is there a workable idea, and what should we do next?

- A specific subject line. Identify your channel and the brand or idea. For example: [Channel] × [Brand] — sponsorship idea.
- A genuine reason for contacting this brand. Mention a product, campaign, or creator partnership only if you can refer to it accurately. Avoid generic praise that could be sent to any company.
- A clear audience fit. Describe who watches your content and why that audience could be relevant to the brand. Focus on the connection, not a broad claim that your audience is “perfect.”
- One or two useful proof points. Include current, honest metrics that relate to the proposed campaign, or link to a strong example of your work. Leave the rest for your media kit.
- A plausible deliverable and angle. Name a format—such as a video integration, dedicated review, or short-form series—and what you would make. The idea should suit both your channel and the product.
- One simple ask. Ask whether the recipient handles creator partnerships, whether they would like your media kit, or whether they are open to discussing the idea. Don’t combine several unrelated requests.
- A useful signature. Include your name, channel link, and media-kit link if you have one ready.
How to find the right person at a brand
Look for someone responsible for influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or brand marketing. A brand’s creator campaigns can help you identify the team involved; professional profiles can help you locate people with relevant current job titles. Verify the person’s role and contact route before writing. If you cannot identify a suitable contact, your one clear ask can be whether the recipient is the right person or can point you to the correct team.

Keep the email readable and leave supporting background to a media kit. Meet Sponsors recommends roughly 120–160 words for the email body, while Sponsorship.so gives a broader 120–200-word range. These are practical recommendations from individual guides, not a measured industry standard or a guarantee of better results.

What belongs in the media kit
A concise media kit can carry the context that would make an email unwieldy: who you are, audience information, relevant metrics, past partnerships, available formats, and a starting point for rates. Link to it or attach it when appropriate. The email should still make sense on its own.

How to follow up without turning it into a sequence
Meet Sponsors suggests sending a brief follow-up after four to five business days, then one more after another interval, and stopping after two unanswered follow-ups. It recommends adding a small piece of new value rather than simply resending the original email. Treat that cadence as one publisher’s practical advice: the available guides do not establish a universally best timing or number of follow-ups.

Keep sponsored endorsements truthful and disclosed
When a sponsorship becomes an endorsement, be clear about material connections such as payment or free or discounted products. FTC staff guidance for the United States says disclosures should be easy to notice and understand, and that a platform’s disclosure tool may not replace a clear disclosure of your own. Don’t describe a product experience you have not had or make claims that require evidence the advertiser does not have. The FTC guidance is U.S.-specific; creators and publishers should check the rules that apply in their jurisdictions.
The Federal Trade Commission staff’s November 2019 guide, Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers, puts the responsibility plainly: “As an influencer, it’s your responsibility to make these disclosures, to be familiar with the Endorsement Guides, and to comply with laws against deceptive ads. Don’t rely on others to do it for you.”

If your creator channel runs continuously on YouTube
If your sponsorship idea involves a YouTube channel that plays uploaded videos on a loop, StreamNeo is a cloud service that keeps that YouTube stream running without leaving a computer or home connection on. You upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It plays uploaded videos rather than broadcasting from a camera. Learn more at StreamNeo.
Quick Recap
That can be relevant when you are planning how sponsored content fits into an always-on channel, but it does not replace the work of proposing a brand-specific idea or making the required disclosures. StreamNeo streams to YouTube only. To try it, start the free first day.
