Its October 2, 2026 notice sets October 26, 2026 as the last day for withdrawals through the normal Blast interface. Withdrawals are subject to an announced temporary pause and, afterward, a 24-hour delay, so check Blast’s current official notice and bridge before acting.
What Blast’s shutdown notice says
Blast announced its wind-down on October 2, 2026, saying that the cost of maintaining the L2 exceeds the revenue it generates and that it sees no credible path to economic sustainability. The notice asks users to withdraw assets to Ethereum mainnet, including balances held in the Blast PWA. Read Blast’s announcement.

The timeline has two separate parts: a temporary pause related to Blast’s Lido assets, followed by a limited period for using the normal interface. The pause’s approximate duration is not confirmation of its current status; check the official announcement and bridge for updates before submitting a transaction.
How to withdraw using the normal Blast interface
- Check the official announcement and bridge. Open the Blast Bridge and verify that the current official instructions say withdrawals are available. The bridge interface shows a Withdraw control, wallet connection prompt, and ETH/BLAST selectors; that alone does not confirm that withdrawals are enabled or provide shutdown-specific steps.
- Connect your wallet through the official interface. Follow the currently displayed instructions there. Do not use an address or transaction details supplied by an unsolicited message.
- Check the selected asset and destination. Blast’s announced destination is Ethereum mainnet. The notice does not establish a separate process for each token type, so rely on the interface’s current asset-specific guidance rather than assuming every asset follows identical steps.
- Review the transaction before confirming. Check the asset, destination network, and displayed transaction details in your wallet. Never share your seed phrase or private key.
- Allow for the announced withdrawal timing. Blast says withdrawals will be temporarily unavailable while it withdraws its Lido assets, a process expected to take approximately one week. After that process ends, withdrawals are to resume with a 24-hour delay. These are announced estimates and terms, not confirmation that the pause has ended or that every withdrawal is available now.
Which withdrawal route applies to your timing?
| Route | Deadline or availability | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Normal Blast interface | Blast says it is available for withdrawals through October 26, 2026. | Use the official interface if it is available and follow its current instructions. |
| Direct bridge-contract interaction on Ethereum L1 | Blast says funds remain withdrawable after October 26, 2026. | Blast promised detailed instructions before the interface cutoff. The announcement does not provide a contract address, function name, calldata, or step-by-step procedure. |
October 26 is the stated cutoff for the normal interface, not an announced end to all withdrawal access. Blast recommends completing withdrawals before that date. If you miss it, wait for detailed instructions from official Blast channels; do not guess at contract calls or rely on third-party instructions.

Why you may see a different withdrawal time elsewhere
An older Blast developer page describes an approximately seven-day withdrawal period, but it is explicitly labeled Testnet. It is not the timing Blast announced for this mainnet wind-down. For the shutdown, Blast’s October 2 notice describes a temporary Lido-related pause and a 24-hour delay after that process completes. Blast’s testnet withdrawal documentation.
