Apple Vision Pro can play a compatible pickleball stream and record what you see in the headset. It is not a court-side camera: to film the players, use a separate iPhone or camera. Choose the setup below based on whether you want to watch, share your headset view, capture a close spatial-video moment, or review the full match.
Choose what you want to capture
| Goal | Capture method | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Watch a live or recorded match | Compatible streaming app or website on Apple Vision Pro | Viewing a broadcast; availability depends on the service and region. |
| Save or share what appears in the headset | Vision Pro’s Record My View feature | Capturing the headset display, including apps and surroundings. |
| Make a three-dimensional recording of a nearby moment | Spatial mode in Camera on a supported iPhone | Close subjects within Apple’s recommended 3-to-8-foot range. |
| Record play across the court for review | A separate camera or phone, optionally with a sports-analysis app | Full-court footage, scores, statistics, and highlights. |
Watch a pickleball match
- Connect Apple Vision Pro to the internet.
- Open the streaming app or website for the match, if the service supports your device and is available in your country.
- Sign in if required, then confirm that the stream plays before the match begins.
A current region-by-region list of pickleball broadcasters with Vision Pro-compatible apps is not established here. Check the broadcaster’s device support and your regional App Store listing rather than assuming a particular service will work.

Show the headset display on another screen
Apple documents View Mirroring or AirPlay Receiver for sharing the Vision Pro display with a compatible screen. This mirrors what is shown; it does not create an independent recording of the court. See Apple’s Vision Pro recording and sharing guide.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesRecord what you see in Vision Pro
- Open Control Center on Apple Vision Pro.
- Select Record My View to start recording.
- When finished, open Control Center and select Record My View again to stop.
- Find the resulting video in Photos.
The recording captures the view visible to the wearer, including the physical room, an Environment, and apps. Check the frame for private screens and bystanders before sharing it. Apple’s instructions are in its Vision Pro guide.

Optional: use High Quality recording
- On Vision Pro, open Settings > General > Captures & Recordings > High Quality and enable the setting.
- Start Record My View from Control Center.
Apple describes High Quality as unfoveated 4K at 30 frames per second from one eye. A session is limited to three minutes. Recording reduces headset rendering quality and may not exactly match what the wearer sees. It cannot start while Mirror My View is on or while the view is being shared in a FaceTime call. These specifications apply to Vision Pro view recording, not to a camera filming the court.
Record the actual players
For full-court footage, position a separate phone or camera to capture the action; Vision Pro’s view recorder records the headset view, not an independent court-side angle. The right placement depends on the court and the recording or analysis workflow, so do not assume Apple’s close-range spatial-video setup will cover an entire match.

Use iPhone Spatial mode for a nearby moment
- On a supported iPhone, open Camera and swipe to Spatial mode.
- Rotate the phone to landscape.
- Keep it steady and level, with even, bright lighting.
- Frame subjects about 3 to 8 feet from the camera and record.
- Open the spatial video in Photos on Vision Pro for three-dimensional playback.
Apple’s recommended 3-to-8-foot subject distance suits a nearby moment, not the spread of action across a pickleball court. Apple’s iPhone spatial-video instructions describe this workflow. With iCloud Photos enabled on devices signed in to the same Apple Account, Apple says spatial media syncs across those devices.

Apple’s December 11, 2023 announcement specified 1080p at 30 frames per second in standard dynamic range for spatial video on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. That is a dated specification for those models, not a universal specification for every supported iPhone. See Apple’s announcement.

Use a match-analysis workflow for full-court review
SwingVision’s App Store listing identifies pickleball support and describes single-camera match video analysis, statistics, scoreboards, and highlights. It is a separate app workflow—not a Vision Pro camera feature. Check the SwingVision listing for current device, feature, and regional availability. Its US listing displayed US$179.99 per year and US$14.99 per month when accessed; prices vary by country and may change.
Apple’s spatial-video guide does not establish a reliable full-court camera position. If you need point-by-point review, decide where a separate camera can see the full playing area and use the chosen app’s own setup guidance.

Play back and share the recording
- Vision Pro view recording: Find it in Photos. Apple also documents sharing the headset display through View Mirroring or AirPlay Receiver to a compatible screen.
- iPhone spatial video: View it in Photos on Vision Pro. With iCloud Photos enabled on devices using the same Apple Account, Apple says the spatial media syncs between them.
- Match-analysis footage: Use the analysis app’s playback and export or sharing options; the specific options depend on the app and account.
Apple’s figures of 90 frames per second and more than 50 megapixels per eye describe Apple Immersive Video capture capabilities, not ordinary Vision Pro view recording or iPhone match footage. See Apple’s developer information on Apple Immersive Video.
