Start with SpaceX’s official launch listing, open the current Starship mission page, and use its WATCH entry. Check SpaceX’s listing and Starship updates page again near launch: development-test schedules can change, and an old countdown is not proof that a launch is still upcoming.
Find the current Starship mission first

Check the mission’s status and date before sharing or relying on its page. Make sure it is upcoming rather than a completed flight with an archived webcast.

Open that mission’s page and look for its WATCH entry. This is the direct official route to that mission’s coverage.

The mission check matters because the listing captured on October 13, 2026, included Flight 14, but its mission page records that it had already lifted off from Starbase, Texas, on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 7:48 a.m. CT. That time is historical, not an announcement of a future launch. Do not reuse it as a countdown or assume the next flight has the same schedule.
Use SpaceX’s other official viewing route
SpaceX’s video page is another official place to find Starship coverage and a WATCH entry. If the mission listing does not make the viewing route clear, check the video page and confirm that the coverage is for the flight you intend to watch. A general Starship video or an old mission stream may not be the live coverage for an upcoming launch.
Prefer a SpaceX page over an unfamiliar repost when you need to confirm that a stream is official. Third-party coverage can be useful for commentary, but verify its mission, timing, and official status independently rather than treating a reposted stream as the source of truth.

Use SpaceX’s official launch listing for the mission schedule and its Starship updates page for program updates and changes. Check both again close to the announced launch time. Launch timing for development tests is volatile, so a date or countdown seen earlier may no longer be current.

When you first choose a mission: confirm its status and date on the launch listing, then open its mission page.

As launch approaches: revisit the listing and Starship updates page for changes rather than relying only on a saved countdown or an old article.

Before you tune in: return to the mission page or SpaceX video page and confirm that the WATCH entry corresponds to the flight you are following.

SpaceX’s official pages are the best-supported sources for the listing, mission-specific viewing route, and program updates. They do not make a previously announced time permanent; the value of checking again is to catch changes before you plan around the schedule.

What to do if the stream or time seems wrong

The mission page shows a past date: treat it as an archive, not an upcoming launch. Return to the launch listing and identify the current mission.

A countdown conflicts with the listing: check SpaceX’s listing and Starship updates page again. Do not assume a third-party countdown is current.

A stream is circulating outside SpaceX’s pages: check whether SpaceX’s mission page or video page points to that coverage. If official status is unclear, do not rely on it as the authoritative stream.

You are trying to plan around a webcast start time: do not assume every stream begins a fixed interval before liftoff. A claim that one flight’s webcast would start about 30 minutes before launch was not established as a universal SpaceX policy.
