To request a desktop layout for one page in Chrome on Android, tap More beside the address bar, select Desktop site, then refresh the page. To make desktop view the default for sites, open More > Settings > Site settings > Desktop site and choose Desktop site.

Tap Desktop site.

This asks the website to send its desktop version; it cannot guarantee the site will honor the request or display an identical desktop layout on a small screen.
Make desktop view the default
Chrome offers three global view preferences. Google’s menu path is More > Settings > Site settings > Desktop site; in some app versions, the setting may be nested or labeled differently.

Choose Desktop site to apply that preference broadly. Google says automatic desktop-site selection requires 8 GB of RAM; devices with less memory default to mobile sites. This threshold concerns automatic selection and does not mean a manual desktop request is impossible on a lower-memory device.
Keep a different setting for a particular site
If you want most sites to follow the global preference but need a different view on one site, add an exception in Settings > Site settings > Desktop site > Add site exception and enter the site URL. Google also says an exception can be added from the Desktop site menu. Individual site choices can take precedence over Chrome’s general preference.

If the page still looks mobile

Open More and check whether Desktop site is enabled for that site.

Refresh after changing the setting so Chrome requests the page again.

If you set a global preference, check for a site-specific choice or exception. A site’s individual setting may override the general browser preference.

Remember that desktop mode is a request to the site, not a guarantee. A website may continue to serve a mobile layout or adapt its desktop version to the Android screen.
