Email verification and login security codes are different
Verifying an address confirms it for account features; it is not the same as entering a code for email-based 2-Step Verification. Roblox says a verified email is required to enable 2-Step Verification, which it recommends as an added security measure. Email one-time-code login is available only to some users.
Roblox says email 2-Step Verification codes expire after 15 minutes. That limit applies to those login codes, not to the verification message used to add an email. If a 2-Step Verification code fails or expires, use Resend Code or Start Over to request a new one.
