1. Link to the stream viewers should watch
Make the destination unmistakable: link the post to the live stream or its scheduled watch page, and say plainly that the channel is live around the clock. If the stream has a planned segment, name it and give its time so the post has a specific reason to click through—for example, a scheduled devotional program, a guest appearance, or a themed music block.

YouTube’s event-promotion guidance recommends sharing a streaming link at least 48 hours before going live. For an always-on stream, apply that advice to scheduled programming and special events; it is not a required lead time for routine updates to a stream that is already running.
2. Choose a post format that fits the message
YouTube’s post composer supports text, images, polls, quizzes, and shared videos. Choose based on what you want viewers to do, not on a claim that one format is a proven growth hack: YouTube’s feature guidance describes the available formats, but does not compare their conversion rates.

3. Schedule posts around real programming
You can schedule a post with a date, time, and time zone. For a continuous stream, use that feature to announce planned programming or an event rather than inventing a daily or weekly posting quota. YouTube does not specify a universal recommended Community-post cadence. It also limits how many posts a channel may publish in a 24-hour period, but the cited help guidance does not give a universal numeric quota.
When planning a scheduled post, check the selected time zone and make sure the linked stream page is the one viewers should land on. A post that names an event without a usable destination leaves viewers to search for it themselves.

4. Support posts with your channel’s live surfaces
YouTube recommends creating a Live section on your channel and using it to feature upcoming and live events. For a public scheduled event, subscribers may see a notification in their Home feed, and a stream may appear in What to Watch Next. These are possible discovery surfaces, not guaranteed placements or impressions.
5. Consider a trailer for a scheduled stream
A trailer can play on a scheduled stream’s watch page before the stream begins. YouTube’s current guidance says this option is available to creators with more than 1,000 subscribers and no Community Guidelines strikes, and gives a trailer duration of 15 seconds to 3 minutes. Eligibility and interface details can change, so confirm the current requirements in YouTube Help before relying on the feature.

6. Keep the stream useful after a post leaves the feed
A post can direct viewers to a moment, but the stream archive and channel organization can help people find content later. YouTube says stream archives upload by default and recommends making archives public to help future reach, then organizing archives and highlight clips into playlists. Some eligible mobile broadcasts can also produce Short highlights, subject to format and other restrictions.
