You can’t install EngineHub’s official WorldEdit mod in Minecraft Bedrock: it is made for Java Edition and is not supported on Bedrock, Realms, Windows 10 Edition, or Pocket Edition (EngineHub). For Bedrock, use the official Bedrock Editor if your platform supports it, the built-in /fill and /clone commands, or a separate third-party add-on. These options have different setup steps and command syntax.
Choose the right Bedrock editing option
| Option | Best for | Key limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Bedrock Editor | Visual selection and editing of larger areas | Available only on supported platform versions; launched through Creator Tools (Minecraft Creator Tools; Microsoft Learn). |
Built-in /fill and /clone |
Quick edits or copying areas in a Bedrock world | Requires Bedrock command syntax and suitable world permissions/settings (Bedrock command reference). |
| Community Bedrock add-on | WorldEdit-like tools and commands | Third-party; check its current compatibility and use its own syntax (WorldEdit for Minecraft Bedrock documentation). |
Use Bedrock Editor for visual area editing
Bedrock Editor is a separate official creator tool, not a Bedrock version of the EngineHub Java mod. Minecraft’s Creator Tools page describes multiblock selection, brush tools, and undo/redo. Microsoft Learn describes Editor as a framework available on certain Bedrock platform versions, so its presence depends on your platform and version.

Make in-game edits with Bedrock commands
Bedrock has built-in /fill and /clone commands for changing or copying regions. They are Bedrock commands, not EngineHub WorldEdit’s Java // commands. Use the current Bedrock command reference for exact arguments, coordinate order, limits, and available options; check that your world settings and permissions allow commands (Microsoft’s Bedrock command reference).

Use /fill to edit an area
/fill changes blocks across a defined region. It is useful when you know the two corners of the area and the block or operation you want applied. Verify the command’s current syntax and options in the reference before running it, particularly if you need to replace only certain blocks rather than overwrite the whole region.
Use /clone to copy a region
/clone copies blocks from one region to another. Consult the reference for the required source and destination coordinates and its available options. A copied region can replace blocks at its destination, so check the coordinates and desired behavior before executing the command.

Install and use a third-party Bedrock WorldEdit-style add-on
A community-maintained add-on called WorldEdit for Minecraft Bedrock documents a separate toolset for Bedrock. It is not the EngineHub Java mod, and its command conventions differ: its quick start uses a permission tag and semicolon-prefixed commands rather than assuming Java WorldEdit’s // syntax (add-on documentation).
- Before installing, check the add-on’s current release notes and documentation for compatibility with your Bedrock version, platform, and world settings. Compatibility should not be assumed across every current release.
- Follow that add-on’s own installation instructions. Microsoft’s general add-on guide explains activation through the world’s Resource packs or Behavior packs settings, but it does not establish that this particular add-on is a Marketplace listing (Microsoft add-on guide).
- In a world where the add-on is active, its quick start documents
/tag @s add worldeditfor granting the player permission. - Use the add-on’s documented semicolon-prefixed commands and navigation wand instructions. Do not substitute Java WorldEdit commands; check the add-on documentation for its current command list and usage.
Microsoft’s guide covers activating add-ons in new worlds, existing single-player worlds, and Realms. Exact interface wording and availability can vary by platform version. The guide’s general steps do not confirm that the community WorldEdit add-on works on every platform or in every Realm.

Why Java WorldEdit instructions do not work in Bedrock
EngineHub’s WorldEdit is a Java Edition mod, and EngineHub explicitly excludes Bedrock, Realms, Windows 10 Edition, and Pocket Edition from support (EngineHub WorldEdit). Java tutorials commonly describe selecting two cuboid points and applying an operation with Java WorldEdit’s // commands; those instructions are not Bedrock command instructions (EngineHub Java quick start). For Bedrock, choose Editor, native commands, or a Bedrock-specific add-on instead.
