To track JEE or NEET counselling updates with Wachete, add the official notice page and counselling portal for the authority responsible for your seat, choose a check frequency and alert channel, then verify every alert on the official site. A monitor is a prompt to check—not a substitute for the candidate portal, official instructions or your own deadline checks.
Choose the right official pages to monitor
The most important setup decision is which authority publishes updates for your counselling category. A single monitor cannot cover every JEE or NEET seat, round and state.

For JEE counselling
- Add the official JoSAA website and its current news or notices page, plus the current counselling portal relevant to your application. JoSAA’s 2026 news page lists items including the Public Notice for PAF, Business Rules and schedule; check the live page for the current cycle’s material.
- If you may participate in NIT+ special rounds, add the official CSAB website separately. JoSAA directs candidates to CSAB for CSAB 2026 Special Rounds and DASA UG; a JoSAA alert should not be assumed to cover those updates.
- Add other state or institutional counselling authorities when they apply to you. JoSAA does not cover every engineering counselling process.
For NEET counselling
- Monitor the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website for the counselling categories it handles. MCC says DGHS, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, is entrusted with specified online counselling, including 15% AIQ UG, 50% AIQ PG and all super-specialty seats. Check the current year’s scheme and notices to confirm the relevant category.
- For state-quota and other state-administered seats, identify and monitor the relevant state medical education directorate or counselling authority. NTA’s counselling guidance describes state counselling as the responsibility of state authorities; NTA exam notices alone are not a complete source for counselling schedules.
- The NTA NEET website is useful for exam-related notices and official links. Treat an exam notice as distinct from a counselling notice unless it specifically addresses the counselling process you need.
JoSAA and MCC also direct candidates to Sandes for counselling-related messages. Where available, enable those official messages as an additional notification route, not as a replacement for checking the responsible authority’s notices.
Set up a Wachete monitor
Wachete’s public workflow is to add a webpage, choose how often it should be checked and receive a change alert. Its product page advertises whole-page or selected-area monitoring, support for interactive and login pages, and email, phone and chat alerts. These are vendor-described capabilities; they are not an independent test of Wachete on JoSAA, MCC or state counselling portals. Exact check intervals and account limits have not been verified here, so use the options shown in your own account.

- Please note, this device does not support E-SIM; This 4G model is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the US, ONLY compatible with T-Mobile and their MVNO's (Metro and Standup). It will NOT work with other CDMA carriers, and it is also not compatible with their MVNO (Visible, Xfinity Mobile, US Mobile, Cricket Wireless, etc).
- Compatibility with certain third-party devices and accessibility accessories, including some hearing aids, may vary depending on manufacturer support, Bluetooth protocols, software compatibility, and regional firmware limitations. For additional hearing aid compatibility information, please refer to Samsung’s official support documentation.
- Camera: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, AF | 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, AF | 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro). Battery: 5000 mAh, non-removable | A power adapter is NOT included.
- Open the source page directly. In a normal browser, find the official notice listing or relevant counselling portal and copy its URL. Prefer the responsible authority’s own page over an unofficial summary.
- Add the URL in Wachete. Follow its page-monitor setup flow and choose a checking frequency available to your account. If the authority publishes notices on separate pages, add separate monitors rather than assuming one page covers all updates.
- Focus the monitor if the page is noisy. If Wachete offers region monitoring for that page, select the notice list or relevant content area. This can help avoid changes to unrelated banners, counters or page furniture triggering alerts. Wachete advertises selected-area monitoring, but its behaviour on these specific portals has not been independently established.
- Pick a channel you will notice. Choose an available Wachete alert method, such as email or phone notification, and retain official authority messages or portal notifications as a second route where offered.
- Review initial alerts. Open each changed page and decide whether the alert reflects a real notice change or an unrelated page update. Adjust the monitored area if the interface allows it.
- Maintain the monitor. During active counselling, check the authority’s page directly as well. At the end of a cycle, remove obsolete monitors or update them to the current year’s official pages.
How to handle an alert safely
- Open the official notice from the authority’s website rather than acting on the alert text alone.
- Check the notice’s publication date, counselling round and category, and whether it applies to your application.
- Read the required action, documents or fee instructions and the deadline. Save the official notice and put the deadline in your calendar.
- Sign in to the candidate portal and complete the required action there, then confirm the portal shows the expected status or receipt.
JoSAA’s portal disclaimer says its page contents are for information purposes and have no legal sanctity. Use the formal notices and candidate portal instructions for decisions and actions. Wachete alerts may be delayed by the selected check frequency, can reflect unrelated page changes, or may miss a change; an alert is not proof that a seat is secured and cannot extend a deadline.
Or skip the browser setup:
ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server for developers, not a counselling-notice monitor. It can capture a page on demand, but it does not replace Wachete’s change alerts or official deadline checks. One GET request returns an image or PDF; the example below saves a screenshot of a public page.
