A CoreMark leaderboard can help compare CPU-core scores, but it cannot tell you which NAS will perform best overall. The publicly available 17NAS ranking is built from user-submitted results, manually screened for plausibility, and ordered by each CPU model’s best reviewed score—not by a controlled lab average. It is a useful reference, provided you read the score as one narrow signal rather than a buying verdict.
What the leaderboard shows
The 17NAS ranking page displayed 150 CPUs when checked on October 7, 2026. Its database figures refresh hourly, so that count is a snapshot, not a fixed total. The page showed these high-scoring entries at the time:

| CPU | Displayed CoreMark score |
|---|---|
| AMD EPYC 7513 | 1,140,363 |
| AMD EPYC 7532 | 1,024,710 |
| Intel Core Ultra 7 265K | 852,878 |
These are reviewed community submissions shown on the 17NAS ranking page, not EEMBC-certified results. Because the ranking uses a model’s best valid reviewed score, an entry at the top represents the strongest accepted submission for that model—not necessarily what a typical system with that CPU will score. See the live 17NAS ranking.
How the scores are collected and ranked
17NAS says users submit CoreMark results from real devices, with optional device and system details and screenshots. The site manually reviews records for plausibility. It orders CPU models by their best valid, reviewed result; individual CPU pages may also provide a best score, average, median, and sample count. Manual plausibility review is not the same as a controlled benchmark run, nor is it EEMBC certification. 17NAS explains its submission and ranking methodology.
#1 Best Overall
- Entry-level NAS Personal Storage:UGREEN NAS DH2300 is your first and best NAS made easy. It is designed for beginners who want a simple, private way to store videos, photos and personal files, which is intuitive for users moving from cloud storage or external drives and move away from scattered date across devices. This entry-level NAS 2-bay perfect for personal entertainment, photo storage, and easy data backup (doesn't support Docker or virtual machines).
- Set Your Devices Free, Expand Your Digital World: This unified storage hub supports massive capacity up to 64TB.*Storage drives not included. Stop Deleting, Start Storing. You can store 22 million 3MB images, or 2 million 30MB songs, or 43K 1.5GB movies or 67 million 1MB documents! UGREEN NAS is a better way to free up storage across all your devices such as phones, computers, tablets and also does automatic backups across devices regardless of the operating system—Window, iOS, Android or macOS.
- The Smarter Long-term Way to Store: Unlike cloud storage with recurring monthly fees, a UGREEN NAS enclosure requires only a one-time purchase for long-term use. For example, you only need to pay $459.98 for a NAS, while for cloud storage, you need to pay $719.88 per year, $2,159.64 for 3 years, $3,599.40 for 5 years. You will save $6,738.82 over 10 years with UGREEN NAS! *NAS cost based on DH2300 + 12TB HDD; cloud cost based on 12TB plan (e.g. $59.99/month).
- Blazing Speed, Minimal Power: Equipped with a high-performance processor, 1GbE port, and 4GB RAM on Board, this NAS handles multiple tasks with ease. File transfers reach up to 125MB/s—a 1GB file takes only 8 seconds. Don't let slow clouds hold you back; they often need over 100 seconds for the same task. The difference is clear.
- Let AI Better Organize Your Memories: UGREEN NAS uses AI to tag faces, locations, texts, and objects—so you can effortlessly find any photo by searching for who or what's in it in seconds. It also automatically finds and deletes similar or duplicate photo, backs up live photos and allows you to share them with your friends or family with just one tap. Everything stays effortlessly organized, powered by intelligent tagging and recognition.
That distinction matters when comparing two models. If one has a higher best result but few submissions, while another has a lower best and a larger sample, the first score is a weaker guide to what an owner is likely to see. Where available, check the sample count and median or average alongside the leaderboard position.
What CoreMark measures—and what it leaves out
EEMBC describes CoreMark as a benchmark designed to test processor-core functionality and produce one score. Its workload includes list processing, matrix manipulation, a state machine, and CRC. That makes the result a compact indicator of CPU integer/core performance, not a test of a complete NAS or a representative measurement of every storage workload. EEMBC’s CoreMark overview.

CoreMark-PRO is a broader benchmark: it includes multiple integer and floating-point workloads, supports multicore testing, and uses larger memory datasets. Even a broader CPU benchmark does not, by itself, establish how a NAS performs across its drives, network, cooling, software, and intended workload. EEMBC’s CoreMark-PRO overview.
Why the same CPU can have different scores
Results depend on more than the CPU model. 17NAS identifies compiler version and flags, scheduling, operating system, thermals, power settings, and background load as factors. It says a 5–15% difference for the same CPU across different NAS systems is normal; that range is the site’s stated variation, not an independent controlled study. Its methodology recommends repeated runs on an idle system and using the median. Read the methodology and score-variation notes.

- Scheduling and background activity: Other processes may compete for processor time.
- Operating environment: OS and system configuration can differ between NAS devices.
How to use the ranking when choosing a NAS CPU
Use CoreMark to narrow a CPU comparison, then check the system requirements that the score cannot answer. The 17NAS site names Intel N100, Intel J4125, and Rockchip RK3588 as common low-power NAS CPU examples; their appearance as examples does not establish which particular NAS or mini PC is the best choice. 17NAS methodology.
- For a CPU comparison: Look at best score, median or average, and sample count together where those figures are available.
- For a NAS purchase: Check drive bays and interfaces, networking, memory capacity and expandability, thermals, power use under your workload, software compatibility, and price.
- For a low-power build: An Intel N100 mini PC may be one route to explore, but verify drive connectivity, network ports, cooling, memory, and NAS software support for the specific machine. CoreMark does not test the complete PC.
How the 17NAS ranking differs from EEMBC’s score directory
EEMBC maintains its own CoreMark scores directory. EEMBC notes that the directory may not contain every score because members and licensees are not required to upload every result. It distinguishes certified scores, which its Certification Lab analyzes against official run rules, from other submissions. A 17NAS record that has passed the site’s manual plausibility review should not be described as EEMBC-certified. EEMBC’s CoreMark scores directory.
