Choose what to monitor
Start with an individual product page if you want to follow one item. For a broader view, Browse AI describes monitoring product listings and search results. Decide which data you need before training the robot:

- Product identity: capture a name, SKU, or other field that distinguishes the item.
- Price: select the displayed price you want to compare.
- Variant or availability, if relevant: include these when size, color, package, or stock status could change which price matters.
A page may show several prices or variants. Make sure the robot captures the price for the intended product and option, rather than a sale badge, shipping cost, or a different variant.

Train and test the robot
- In Browse AI, create a robot for the product page, or the listing or search page you want to monitor.
- Train it to capture the product identity and the intended price field. Add other fields, such as availability, only if they help you interpret a change.
- Run the robot and compare its extracted values with the page. Do not rely on a monitor until the robot returns the right product and price.
Browse AI recommends testing robots. This check matters because a technically successful capture can still select the wrong field or product.
Add a monitor and set its schedule
Browse AI’s Help Center describes two routes: choose monitoring while creating the robot, or open the Monitor tab for an approved robot and add a monitor there. First confirm that the robot captures the intended data, then configure the monitor.
- Schedule: choose how often Browse AI should run the robot. Browse AI’s price-monitoring page describes schedules from every minute to monthly; treat those as vendor-described options and check the current choices in your account.
- Change sensitivity: set the detection behavior available in the monitor setup so the system reports changes at the level you need.
- Timezone: the monitor uses its configured timezone, which may differ from your browser’s timezone. Check it when setting run times.
More frequent checks can make changes visible sooner, but choose a cadence that fits the decision you need to make. Do not assume that every schedule or monitoring option is included in every plan.

Choose how to receive or use changes
Browse AI documents email notifications and data delivery through webhooks or integrations. Its e-commerce material also describes sending structured data to spreadsheets and other connected tools. The exact destinations available can depend on the account and current product options, so confirm them in the dashboard before designing a workflow around one.

For useful comparisons, retain the product identity alongside each price. If you monitor listings or variants, include enough identifying data to tell whether a price change belongs to the same item.

Keep the monitor accurate
- Review monitor results and compare important changes with the live page.
- After a site redesign, a change to product variants, or an unexpected result, rerun the robot and check its field selections.
- If the monitor stops returning the expected data, update the robot’s extraction pattern and test it before continuing to rely on alerts.
Browse AI describes monitors as scheduled robot runs that notify users when monitored data changes. That notification is only useful when the robot is still capturing the intended product and price.
