Find the offer on Stop & Shop’s Savings/Coupons page, sign in if prompted, and clip or add it to your account. Then buy an item that meets that specific offer’s terms. The explicit instruction to show a coupon at checkout applies to Instacart’s Shop In-Store flow; the available official instructions do not establish one checkout procedure for every Stop & Shop register or online order.
Clip a coupon through Stop & Shop
- Open Savings/Coupons. Browse the digital offers on Stop & Shop’s coupon page.
- Sign in when prompted. The page indicates that signing in is needed to add offers to a shopping list or account.
- Use the coupon’s on-page action. Clip or add the offer to your account, then check its terms before shopping.
Clipping is the step described on Stop & Shop’s coupon page. The available instructions do not specify what to do at every type of checkout after clipping, so do not assume that a particular register prompt or online payment step applies universally.

- Open the Deals tab.
- Tap the coupon’s Save checkbox.
- At checkout in the store, show the coupon.
Instacart’s instruction to show the coupon in store applies to Shop In-Store. It does not establish the redemption steps for a standard Stop & Shop register, delivery order, pickup order, or other online checkout path.

Check the offer before you shop
Digital coupons apply only when the purchase meets the conditions of that particular offer. Check the coupon itself for:
- The qualifying product or products.
- Any quantity or household limit.
- The offer’s start and expiration dates.
- Exclusions and any other stated terms.
Offers can expire or change, so rely on the terms shown for the coupon you intend to use rather than assuming all offers work alike. For coupons offered through the Express/Instacart service, the service terms also say coupons may not combine with other promotional offers and may be limited by supply or law. If the coupon does not apply
- Confirm that the item matches the offer’s qualifying-item description.
- Check that the quantity is within the offer limit and that the purchase falls within the offer dates.
- Review exclusions and other terms, including any applicable restrictions on combining offers.
