Check for a Paramount+ update on your LG TV
- Turn on the TV and make sure it is connected to the internet.
- Press the Settings button on the remote, then choose All Settings.
- Open General, then select About This TV.
- Make sure Allow automatic updates is enabled, then choose Check for updates.
These are the manual check steps Paramount+ publishes for LG TVs. Its support page says LG Smart TVs are designed to check automatically for the latest app and TV software: Paramount+ app version guidance.

If your TV has different menu labels
LG’s firmware-update route varies by webOS generation and product. LG’s software guide, dated November 7, 2025, gives these paths:

App update versus TV software update
Paramount+’s instructions refer to checking both the app and the TV software, while LG’s update guide specifically describes the TV’s firmware. A firmware check can be a useful troubleshooting step if Paramount+ is not working or updating, but the guidance does not say that a firmware update is always required to update the app.
If Paramount+ is missing or will not install
First check whether the app is available for your particular TV model and country. LG says app support varies by model and region; search for Paramount+ in the LG Content Store for your TV.

- Confirm the TV is connected to the internet.
- Check that the LG Services Country setting matches your actual location.
- Sign in to an LG account.
- Make sure the TV has enough available storage.
LG’s app installation and deletion guide covers these checks. If the built-in app is not supported for your model or region, a compatible streaming device is an optional alternative; confirm both device compatibility and Paramount+ availability in your country before choosing one.
