- Upload a file to pCloud.
- Download the pCloud Drive desktop application and sign in.
- Download the pCloud mobile application and sign in.
- Enable Automatic Upload in the mobile application.
These tasks can move the initial 2 GB allocation toward the Basic plan’s 10 GB maximum. pCloud’s help pages describe the available storage as up to 10 GB, so completing tasks and referrals does not raise the Basic account above that limit.

Use the unique referral link available through your pCloud account. For a referral to count, the invited person must create a free pCloud account through that link and verify their email address. pCloud describes successful referrals as earning 1 GB each and says the referral program can provide up to 3 GB of extra storage. The account-level Basic limit remains up to 10 GB.

Know what the free-plan limits mean
pCloud’s current Help Center plan details list up to 10 GB of Basic storage, 50 GB of shared-link traffic per month, and upload traffic up to twice the account’s storage space within 30 days. These are separate limits: storage is the space available for files, while traffic measures data transferred through specified activities.

For example, the 50 GB shared-link traffic figure is not another 50 GB of file storage. Likewise, the upload-traffic allowance is a transfer limit, not additional capacity in your account.
