The letter is ñ in lowercase and Ñ in uppercase. You can type it without a special keyboard: use the shortcut for your device and active keyboard layout, or copy and paste ñ or Ñ.
Type ñ or Ñ on a Mac
With the ABC keyboard layout, press Option+N, release the keys, then press n for ñ or Shift+N for Ñ. Option+N enters the tilde as a dead key; the next letter completes the character. Apple also identifies ABC Extended as an option for typing across Latin-script languages. If another input source is selected, the keystrokes may behave differently. Type ñ on a Chromebook
First select the English (US) with International keyboard layout, then press AltGr+N. AltGr is the right Alt key. The shortcut depends on having that matching layout enabled; Google’s guide also describes other accent-entry options whose availability and keys depend on the chosen layout. Use the tilde shortcut
In Word or Outlook, press Ctrl+Shift+~, then type N for Ñ. Microsoft lists Ñ among the characters entered with this shortcut. These instructions are for Word and Outlook; they are not a universal Windows text-field shortcut.

Use Unicode in Word or Outlook
To enter lowercase ñ, type 00F1 and then press Alt+X. Microsoft’s Alt+X method converts the hexadecimal Unicode code immediately before the shortcut into its character. See Microsoft’s Word and Outlook accent-mark shortcuts.
Use the Windows Alt code for lowercase ñ
A special-character reference from Antelope Valley College lists Alt+0241 for lowercase ñ. Turn on Num Lock, hold Alt, and enter 0241 on the numeric keypad. This is a context-sensitive shortcut, not a guarantee for every app or keyboard. On a compact laptop without a numeric keypad, the Word or Outlook Unicode method may be more convenient where supported. The reference does not establish a corresponding uppercase code. When a Spanish keyboard layout makes sense
If you type ñ and other Spanish characters often, selecting a Spanish layout can be more convenient than entering each character with a separate shortcut. It is not required: the software methods above work for occasional use, subject to their stated layout or application requirements. Shortcut behavior can vary with the operating-system version, selected input source, physical keyboard, and app. The sources cited here do not establish a universal Linux sequence.
