Its documented workflow handles web analysis, app configuration, an audit, and a build—but selecting Android permissions does not, by itself, give a website working access to device hardware.
What InteeBuild does
InteeBuild is a web-to-Android builder introduced by its author, Droncito, in a DEV Community post on October 5, 2026. The project is hosted on GitHub by Fluxionics. Its stated aim is to make the Android setup side of packaging a website less cumbersome. The author presents the pipeline as URL or HTML input, analysis, configuration, audit, and build, with APK, AAB, or project ZIP output. The project introduction and repository README describe its features; these are project-reported capabilities, not independently verified results.

How the documented workflow works
- Choose a starting point. Select a template or configure the project manually.
- Provide the web content. Supply a public URL or HTML for analysis.
- Configure the Android app. Set its name, package identity, version, icon, colors, permissions, and any desired native plugins.
- Review build settings and audit. The project describes checks for readiness, URLs, and webhooks, followed by a preview before building.
- Build and retrieve the output. The documented options include an APK, AAB, or project ZIP. The README also describes GitHub Actions builds with artifacts and logs.
Other features listed by the author include API access, webhooks, APK inspection or decompilation, and background-audio and native-bridge support. Their presence in project documentation should not be read as proof that every website, plugin, or device combination works as intended.
Permissions are not the same as working native features
An Android permission declaration tells the operating system what an app may request; it does not add the website-side code or integration needed to use a device feature. As Droncito puts it, “adding a permission to Android’s manifest doesn’t magically make the website capable of using that hardware.”

InteeBuild describes separate stages for a capability: declared, supported, generated, and actually usable. That distinction matters when evaluating camera, microphone, background audio, or other native behavior. Before relying on a feature, confirm that the website itself supports the required interaction, the selected bridge or plugin implements it, and the generated app can request and use it on the target Android version. The project sources do not establish compatibility across websites, Android versions, or devices.
Build options, prerequisites, and deployment
The repository README labels Capacitor 7 and Native WebView as READY. It labels TWA, GeckoView, and Cordova EXPERIMENTAL, and Flutter and Tauri PLANNED. These are the repository’s own status labels and may change over time.

The documented prerequisites are Node.js 18 or later and a GitHub account with an empty repository for builds. The README gives instructions for local installation as well as a Render deployment option; Render is not presented as mandatory. It also describes a limit of 10 builds per hour per IP for the deployment configuration. That is an operational limit, not a performance benchmark or a measure of adoption. The repository identifies the project as MIT licensed. Check the README for current setup instructions and status before starting.

Security claims and what they establish
Because the service can receive website URLs and APK files, its handling of untrusted input matters. The author and README describe controls aimed at SSRF, localhost and private-network access, cloud metadata endpoints, unsafe redirects, oversized HTML or icons, malicious ZIP/APK structures, API abuse, invalid webhooks, and rate-limit abuse. The README also mentions configurable CORS.

These are descriptions of implementation safeguards, not an independent security audit or proof that every attack path is covered. The available project information does not establish the results of a separate security review or independent build-and-compatibility testing. Treat that distinction as important if you plan to process sensitive URLs, distribute generated apps, or expose a deployment publicly.

InteeBuild may be useful to developers who want a guided route from a website or HTML input to an Android project and build artifacts, and who are comfortable checking the generated output and configuring GitHub-based builds. It is not evidence that any arbitrary website can become a fully native Android app with all device features working automatically.

In the October 5, 2026 post, Droncito said the current priority was stability and security rather than adding more features. That describes the author’s stated focus at the time of publication, not a guarantee about subsequent development.
