If Kahoot! flags missing content or a premium feature your plan does not include, resolve that prompt and save again. A draft cannot be played, assigned, or shared until it is saved as a complete kahoot.
Save a draft as a playable kahoot

Sign in to Kahoot! and open Library.

Select the Drafts tab and find the kahoot.

Open the three-dot menu beside it and choose Edit. On some screen sizes or browser zoom settings, the edit control may appear as a pencil icon.

In the creator, select Save in the top-right corner.

If Kahoot! identifies an issue, follow the prompt: complete missing required content, or remove a starred premium feature that your current plan does not include. Kahoot! may also offer an upgrade for access to that feature.

Select Save again after making the required changes.
Kahoot!’s save instructions explain that drafts must be completed before they can be played, assigned, or shared.
Why is the kahoot still saved as a draft?
A kahoot may remain a draft if you closed the creator without saving, chose a draft option, left required elements incomplete, or used premium features unavailable on your current plan. For example, the creator may require a title or a selected correct answer in a Test knowledge question.
Return to Library > Drafts, open the game for editing, and select Save. Use any message in the creator to identify what needs attention, then save again when the issue is resolved.
Publishing and visibility are separate settings
Saving a complete kahoot makes it playable, but it does not determine who can find or access it. Kahoot! offers visibility choices including Public and Private:

Public: The game can appear in Discover search results.

Private: The game does not appear in search; access requires sharing it with signed-in players.
