If you mean a Samsung TV’s service menu, there is no verified access sequence that can be recommended for every model. The menu is separate from the TV’s normal settings and supported diagnostics, and changing undocumented options can cause unwanted results. For troubleshooting, start with the TV’s built-in checks and model-specific Samsung guidance instead.
What the Samsung TV “hidden menu” is—and what it isn’t
People use “hidden menu” to mean different things on Samsung products. This article is about the service menu on Samsung TVs, not diagnostics on Galaxy phones or other devices. A TV service menu is distinct from the ordinary settings screens and from Samsung’s user-facing Self Diagnosis and Device Care features.

Samsung’s support guidance describes those supported diagnostic tools, but the sources here do not establish a universal service-menu code or button sequence. A Samsung Community discussion mentions remote-button sequences, but that is not official confirmation of a method that works across models. Identify your exact TV model and consult its documentation rather than treating a sequence found online as guaranteed.
Why changing service-menu settings is risky
Service-menu options are not ordinary picture or sound controls. Samsung Community moderator guidance warns that changing settings there can produce unfavorable results. That warning concerns changes; it does not establish that merely opening the menu automatically voids a warranty. If you are unsure what an option does, leave it unchanged and contact Samsung support or a qualified technician.

Try Samsung’s supported TV diagnostics first
Samsung’s built-in checks are the safer starting point for common issues. Availability and exact menu paths can vary with the TV model and software version, so use your TV’s on-screen menus or model-specific support documentation to find the relevant feature.

What to do if a test finds a problem
- Note the TV’s model code, software version, and serial number.
- Contact Samsung support and describe the symptom and which supported diagnostic indicated a problem. Samsung says the TV may prompt you to contact its call center with those details.
- Follow model-specific support guidance or ask a qualified technician before changing settings that are not documented for your TV.
Should you try a remote-button sequence?
Not unless Samsung’s documentation for your exact model confirms it and explains what to do next. The available account of remote-button sequences is a community discussion, not proof of a universal official procedure. A numeric-keypad remote may matter for some model-dependent instructions, but a compatible remote does not make undocumented service-menu changes safe. Check compatibility and the required buttons for your TV before considering a different remote.

For context, the Samsung Community discussion about a factory-reset code includes moderator guidance cautioning that changing service-menu settings may lead to unfavorable results. It should not be treated as a guaranteed access guide for other Samsung TVs.
