What may not transfer
A setup copy should not be treated as a complete backup. Google lists examples of content that may not transfer through its general Android setup process:
- Downloaded files such as PDFs
- Photos and videos stored in hidden folders
- Apps installed outside Google Play
- App data that is not supported by Android backup
- Non-Google accounts and their data
- Contacts or calendars synced with services other than Google
- Ringtones and some device settings

For OPPO-to-Apple photo transfers after setup
OPPO documents O+ Connect for photo transfers between OPPO devices and iPhone or Mac. The product page states compatibility requirements of ColorOS 16.0 or later, iOS 15.0 or later, and macOS 10.14 or later. It also says devices must be connected manually and one-tap quick transfer is not supported. This is a narrower photo-transfer feature, not confirmation of a full-phone migration method. Check the A7 Pro before wiping the old phone
- Open important contacts, messages, photos, and videos on the A7 Pro.
- Sign in to essential apps and confirm that the data you need is present; some apps require a separate sign-in, backup, or restore process.
- Check downloads, hidden folders, and accounts that may not have been part of the setup transfer.
- Only after those checks pass, use the old phone’s manufacturer or carrier instructions to securely erase it before trade-in or recycling.
Google advises clearing the old device only after confirming that data has copied. For the exact Clone Phone workflow and supported categories on your A7 Pro, follow its on-screen prompts or consult local OPPO support; OPPO’s accessible support navigation links the tool but does not establish the A7 Pro’s exact menu sequence.
